[disque dur HS] Temps de boot anormalement long

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai ouvert un fil de discussion sur le forum il y a déjà 3 semaines à cause d'un problème de disque dur à priori.
Après un gros travail sur le disque, il s'avère qu'il y aurait aussi un problème de boot. (le démarrage dure plus d'1/4 d'heure)

A priori, personne n'a eu le courage, ou le temps, de se pencher sur ce problème de boot... (il y a peut-être un os plus gros que ce que j'imaginais !)

Une petite question en passant : mon OS est en 32 bits alors que je pourrai être en 64, est-ce que si je fais une réinstallation (en profitant de passer en 64) je suis sûr de résoudre mes problèmes ou pas forcément ?

C'est propre.
Avec 4Go tu exploiteras mieux en 64bits, mais il est judicieux de vérifier ta mémoire.
Comme tu tombes sur moi, je propose forcément Xubuntu : ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.xubuntu.c … -amd64.iso
Dans tous les cas, prend une 14.04.1.
(Puis règle au moins la swappiness).

Je jetterais aussi un coup d'oeil sur la poussière et les branchements.
Et vien sur fais les tests sans lecteur externe branché (est-ce le cas ?)

Il n'y a pas de lecteur externe et la poussière est faite (j'ai pas encore refermé la boite) et pour les branchements tu parles surtout de la barette mémoire ou bien tous ?

Tous. vérifie qu'il n'y ait pas de contact foireux.
après le memtest, si il ne donne pas d'erreur, passe un coup de smartmontools.
Mais le peu que j'ai compris donne des doutes côté RAM.

Vérifie enfin tes réglages Bios (si il n'y a pas des fantaisies côté émulation, gestion de l'énergie ou des ventilos)

Ça y est, tout est Ok côté poussière et branchements...

Résultat du Memtest86+ du dvd live :  :

(Petite question pour info, le test ne s'arrête-t-il jamais tout seul ? Car après le 1er passage il a fait un 2e puis il repartait pour un 3e...)

Côté Bios, j'ai remis les paramètres par défaut, au cas où...

Malgré tout ça, le démarrage prend toujours 10 à 15 minutes et les lenteurs habituelles sont toujours là, par exemple Ffox met plus d'une minute chrono avant de démarrer...
(Pour info la session live fonctionne très normalement.)

Le premier est dû à un problème de montage de swap et le deuxième à cups semble-t-il. Tu as une imprimante branchée lors du boot ?

J'ai déjà vu ce problème : c'était un port USB qui déconnait et qui bloquait le démarrage. C'était looooong. En le débranchant (dans le pc), j'avais réglé la question.

On peut aussi désactiver la détection de l'USB lors du boot dans le bios.

Je passe en coup de vent et je ne reviens que ce soir...
Jamais eu d'imprimante branchée sur mon ordinateur, depuis quelques temps un DD externe mais pas branché lors du boot.
Voilà déjà le résultat de la commande :

Attention, je n'ai pas dit que mon problème venait d'un périphérique USB : il n'y avait rien de branché. C'était le port USB lui-même qui bloquait le boot.

Pour répondre à Christophe C, j'ai changé le branchement de mes USB en façade et je les ai branchés sur un autre plot de ma carte mère, et dans mon bios, le boot est configuré sur le lecteur DVD puis le DD mais pas sur l'USB. Y aurait-il autre chose à faire pour creuser de ce côté là ?

Oui, tu les débranche complètement ton cable USB, tu boot et tu vois si cela arrange la chose. Ce n'est pas une solution durable, c'est juste pour voir si le problème vient de là.

Je me souviens aussi d'un pb plus ancien (2008) du à un lecteur de CD-ROM. Tu peux essayer de débrancher sélectivement de la carte mère tout ce qui n'est pas indispensable (y compris les barettes mémoires si tu en a plus de 1), et voir si un de ces débranchements règle ton pb : tu aura trouvé le matériel défaillant. Si le pb vient de d'un matériel, bien sur.

J'ai débranché le lecteur de CD/DVD, et la connectique de la face avant (dont USB). Il reste le disque dur, la barrette de RAM, écran, clavier et souris. Ça ne change rien...

Poste le contenu de /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume.

Utilises-tu ou prévois-tu une imprimante sur cet ordi ? Si non, une fois sur le bureau, fait :

sudo apt-get remove cups

Puis reboot et poste à nouveau le contenu de /var/log/syslog du dernier boot.

Ajout    La commande  "cat" affiche le contenu d'un fichier en une seule fois.
            La commande "pg" affiche le contenu d'un fichier écran par écran. Elle oblige à faire un 'return' à chaque écran.

Si pas d'imprimante prévu tu fais la commande au #20.

Il y a un problème ici :

sudo blkid

Comme tu le constates, le RESUME=UUID= ne correspond pas à celui de blkid et /fstab, il faut donc le changer pour qu'il soit le même que celui de blkid et /fstab. Puis tu reboot et tu postes à nouveau le contenu de /var/log/syslog.
