[Résou] Affichage "cassé", démarrage impossible

Bonjour,

Depuis quelques jours, je ne peux plus démarrer mon Ubuntu 12.04. L'écran est plein de tas de couleurs, de pixels qui "dansent". Dans un premier temps j'ai cru à l'écran qui mourrait.

Mais ce qui me fait douter, c'est que sur la partie de l'écan lisible, je ne peux plus me connecter. Parfois je n'arrive même pas à l'écran de login, je reste sur l'écran de chargement (où l'ont voit les différents services qui démarrent, l'analyse de l'état des disques durs, etc.) mais j'en reste là, avec une demande d'authentification en ligne de commande (il m'a semblé voir tty).

J'ai tenté un démarrage en recovery (voir la 1e image), cela n'a pas servi.

Quand j'arrive jusqu'à l'écran de login, je mets mes identifiants, mais ensuite le système redémarre, puis se bloque sur cet écran de chargement avec les services, où je vois ces logs (du moins ce que je peux lire, je remplace les tas de pixels par des "?") :

Le problème c'est que ne sachant pas quel est le souci, difficile de le résoudre... Y a-t-il des commandes qui peuvent dire de l'état du système ?
Est-ce que ces demi-logs vous disent quelque chose ?

Bonjour !

Chaud ton problème !
Voilà ce que je conseille :
1) Tu démarres avec une session live avec un live CD ou une clé USB
2) Si tu n'as pas encore fait de sauvegarde de tes données, tu t'empresses de les faire,
3) Tu regardes les logs de ton système (si t'arrives à arriver jusque là, si c'est ta carte graphique qui est en train de lâcher, ça sera plus compliqué). Les journaux sont normalement dans /var/log/. En session live le chemin sera un peu différent : il faudra que t'accèdes à ta partition d'abord, le chemin ressemblera sans doute à quelque chose comme ça : /media/tonutilisateur/tapartition/var/log/, à toi de chercher). Dedans il y a plusieurs fichiers qui vont nous intéresser : le dmesg, le boot, et le Xorg.0. Je t'invite à recopier leur contenu entre balises code (voir les boutons au-dessus de la fenêtre pour taper un nouveau message).

Malgré tout, ton problème semble être matériel: Soit l'écran soit la carte graphique, soit la carte mère. Tes carrés colorés, ça survient lorsque les tensions sont incorrectes.
Est-ce que tu arrives à afficher correctement le bios?
Semblerait que ce soit sur ta tour. Si oui ouvres la, dépoussière et vérifie que tout est correctement branché

Ok je vais faire un nettoyage, j'espère demain (il faut prévoir du temps...)

Pour le live CD, j'en ai un 64 bits, mon pc en rade est en 32 bits. Est-ce que cela fait l'affaire pour les backups ou il faut que j'en crée un 32 bits ?

Si le processeur de ta tour est en 32 bits, la clef en 64 b ne démarrera pas.


Note que sur une tour, APRÈS le dépoussiérage recommandé à juste titre par godverdami, il est facile de changer la CG pour une vieille, le temps de tests.
Avant chaque insertion, veiller à ce que les connecteurs, mâle et femelle, de la CG soient propres.

Je n'ai pas d'autre CG pour tester. J'ai fait le gros nettoyage. Tout est bien branché. Mais j'ai toujours le problème sad

Je vois bien le BIOS. J'ai pu accéder au système, il a été opérationnel pendant quelques minutes. Je peux lancer un Firefox, j'ai la fenêtre m'indiquant que j'ai des mises à jour à faire qui s'ouvre... Puis au bout de 2 ou 3 minutes, tout se pixellise et se fige, même la souris ne réagit plus.

Le souci c'est que je ne sais pas si c'est matériel ou logiciel ! Quels tests puis-je faire pour le savoir ?

Edit : je viens de rebooter, dès l'arrivée sur le bureau je suis passé en console (Crtl+Alt+F1). Là j'ai lancé un update (OK) puis un upgrade (qui tourne bien depuis plusieurs minutes, sans aucun problème d'affichage (même s'il y a peu de choses à afficher dans ce mode - j'ai juste les accents qui s'affichent mal, é = ~u par exemple). Si c'était matériel, je suppose que j'aurais l'affichage en console qui serait également cassé et me bloquerait toute action ? Donc cela ressemblerait plus à un problème logiciel ?

Edit2 : après cette màj, je suis resté sur le bureau sans lancer aucune appli. Affichage correct pendant au moins 10mn, j'ai bougé régulièrement la souris, ça répondait bien. D'un coup, paf ça pixellise et tout se bloque. Et 10 secondes après, reboot du pc (l'écran s'éteint et se rallume), avec blocage sur le même écran qu'à mon post #1 (no ?ha?e available,...).

Y aurait-il un problème de mémoire défectueuse ? La CG utilise-t-elle de la mémoire dédiée ou partagée ?

Malheureusement je n'arrive pas à le faire. Contrairement à mes tests précédents, même en mode console l'affichage déraille complètement :

J'ai vu le résultat de la commande quelques secondes (pas assez pour le recopier). Ca disjoncte, j'appuie plusieurs fois sur Entrée (ça m'ajoute des lignes jarodd@jarodd $) et là le résultat au dessus redevient lisible ! Mais juste pour quelques secondes seulement, avant de se rebrouiller.

Je re-re-reboote pour tenter de le recopier rapidement...

Edit : sur mes derniers essais, cela le fait aussi sur l'écran du BIOS et de GRUB. Pas moyen d'atteindre le mode console (j'ai lancé les commandes à l'aveugle en copiant le résutat dans un fichier, en espérant les récupérer d'une manière ou d'une autre)

Edit2 : même résultat en bootant sur le live CD. Donc le système n'est pas en cause. C'est peut-être l'écran, ou le câble, mais aucune moyen de vérifier...
Edit3 : j'ai retrouvé un vieux câble VGA, en attendant mieux ça me permettra d'avancer

N'étant PAS un spécialiste du graphique, je ne peux pas te dire si tu as bien fait d'installer le module nVidia 340.65 pour une carte GeForce 9600 GT, sur une Xubuntu 12.04.

Mais je peux te dire
- que ce pilote a du mal à gérer ton écran cathodique (CRT), comme le montre :

donc que tu pourrais déjà essayer avec un autre écran.

- que ton système n'est pas à jour  et que tu peux le mettre à jour en console.
Ctrl Alt F1   puis

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

- qu'annuler la vérification automatique d'un de tes systèmes de fichiers (FS)

Sites: e2fsck canceled.
mountall: fsck /media/sites [445] terminated with status 32

était une c*nnerie.

- que ton installation semble ancienne puisqu'en ext3, et que tu devrais vérifier en live l'état de ton disque :

sudo apt-get install smartmontools
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda

dont tu colleras le retour complet ici.
Ce point étant prioritaire parce que si ton disque en est à rater une partie de ses lectures ou écritures, la seule chose à faire est de sauver les meubles sur DDE, avant dégradation supplémentaire.

Je ne sais pas si cela a une influence mais j'ai Ubuntu, pas Xubuntu smile L'installation de ce driver a été fait suite à un autre souci (voir ici, post #23 et suivants).

D'ailleurs à partir de quand le driver est utilisé ? L'affichage déraille parfois dès le BIOS ou le chargement du système (écran noir avec tous les logs qui défilent).

Ecran CRT ? Je n'en ai plus depuis 2008 lol J'utilise un écran plat Hyundai 22". Je suis en train de tester avec un autre écran (qui a 1 an et fonctionne bien), le souci d'affichage est toujours présent. Ca a déraillé pendant l'étape du boot (quand le BIOS vérifie si j'ai inséré un CD pour démarrer dessus ou s'il doit booter sur le DD).

- que ton système n'est pas à jour  et que tu peux le mettre à jour en console.

Ca c'est ok. J'ai lancé les commandes avant de pouvoir faire la màj (voir post #6). C'est juste que je n'avais pas réussi à récupérer le contenu des commandes pour les poster ici (j'ai réussi hier soir, la màj faite dans l'aprèm).

Vérif annulée exceptionellement (je les ai toutes faites depuis que j'ai Ubuntu) : elle prend environ 10mn, et ces derniers temps l'affichage est correct pendant 2 ou 3 mn, j'ai donc essayé d'aller au plus vite pour faire les tests avant que l'affichage foire à nouveau.

Si tu as un connecteur VGA directement sur la carte mère, enlève la carte graphique et connecte l'écran sur la carte mère et vois si ça le fait aussi

Le pilote graphique, en effet, est chargé avec le S.E., donc bien après le bios.

Aïe ! 10 minutes ça me paraît énorme pour une vérification faite tous les 23 ou 30 montages.

Elle a toujours été longue, le disque dur fait 1 To donc cela ne m'a jamais choqué.

Je n'ai pas vu de connecteur VGA directement sur la carte-mère sad

Est-ce que cela peut venir de la RAM ? De l'alim ? Il y a des outils pour faire des tests sur le matériel ?

Pas donné pour la simple raison que je n'arrive pas à lancer les commandes, l'affichage foire avant et je ne vois pas ce que je fais ! Même la session live échoue trop tôt sad Et j'ai bien vérifié, pas de trace de memtest au démarrage (j'ai même vérifié dans les "previous versions" du noyau).

Que faut-il conclure des « inoeuds défectueux » ? Ca peut avoir une incidence sur mon problème d'affichage ? Un moyen de le corriger ?

Si tu veux avancer, comme il est très possible que tu aies un problème de disque EN PLUS d'un autre problème matériel, on va sérier les problème :
1) oublie ta tour pour le moment, extrais-en ton disque.

2) Ensuite, tu vas le brancher en tant que disque secondaire à un autre ordi.
Dans l'idéal, directement sur une nappe Sata (celle du lecteur de dvd, si tu n'en as pas d'autres sous la main).
  Au pire, dans un boîtier ou autre adaptateur, mais je te le déconseille dans ton cas, parce que ça compliquerait la suite.

3) Tu démarres sur un linux à jour (à défaut sur une live),
3.1)   tu vois si tes données semblent accessibles et si oui, sauvegarde immédiatement ce qui peut l'être, de tes données et du /var/log de ton disque devenu secondaire,
3.2)   et tu donnes les données smart de ton disque.


PS : si tu te fais prêter une vieille tour (ce qui serait très bien), alors emploie une live légère en 32 bits et à noyau 3.2 (Xubuntu 12.04.4 ou Lubuntu12.04.1), parce que les noyaux postérieurs ne prennent pas en charge les cartes graphiques anciennes.

Hello,

Je vais pouvoir me lancer dans ce dépannage dans les prochains jours (vive les congés).

1/ Que sont les données « smart » ?
2/ Le but de la manoeuvre (à part la sauvegarde) est-elle la réinstallation d'un système ? Car si c'est un problème matériel, cela risque d'être inutile non ?

Je vais faire la 1e méthode (DD en SATA) car je n'ai pas la possibilité d'avoir une tour de dépannage.

De retour, avec enfin un peu de temps pour tout faire smile

1/ J'ai démonté mes 2 disques durs et fait les sauvegardes du plus urgent.

2/ Mon /var/log fait plus de 10 Go. Faut-il TOUT sauvegarder ? Ou sinon quels répertoires/fichiers sont nécessaires en priorité ?

3/ J'ai installé smartontools, J'ai tenté de faire un smartctl -a pour avoir toutes les infos (et ceci sur chaque partition du disque dur). Mais cela ne fonctionne pas :

sans nombre.Smart ne s'intéresse pas aux partitions ni à leurs systèmes de fichiers (ça, c'est le travail de fsck), mais uniquement à l'état matériel des HD entiers.

les sauvegardes du plus urgent

Bien mais n'oublie pas l'important dans tes données.

Le contenu de /var/log ne contient pas tes données persos et ne te servira que pour le diagnostic.
Tu peux garder dmesg, kern.log et syslog.

garde aussi boot, boot.log et le Xorg.0.log.
Fais l'effort de relire le fil !

et puis monte toutes tes partitions et donne

df -h

et

df -i

parce que, en #6, "no ?ha?e available", est peut-être l'affichage de "no space available".
