Pavé numérique USB non reconnu

Bonjour,

Je viens d'acheter un pavé numérique USB pour mon laptop Asus (modèle en signature, si nécessaire).

Le voyant "Num lock" s'allume bien, mais l'appui sur les touches ne donne rien.

Voici ce que donnent `lsusb` et `xinput`

Deux remarques:
* La ligne [  599.209822] usb 1-3: USB disconnect, device number 3 qui semble déconnecter le pavé
* Les 4 dernières lignes, qui semblent connecter le pavé comme clavier puis comme souris

Peut-être le problème vient-il de là.

Infos complémentaires:
* `xev` log bien quelques événements lorsque j'appuie sur certains touches (c.f. commentaire plus bas)
* Je suis également allé faire un tour chez [Ctrl][Alt][F1] pour voir si `showkey --scancodes` détecte quand j'appuie sur les touches: la réponse est non.
* Le pavé numérique apparaît dans la liste des périphériques du menu Paramètres > Souris et Pavé tactile > Périphériques. Je l'ai désactivé à cet endroit mais cela ne change rien.
* J'ai également désactivé l'émulation de la souris par le pavé numérique dans le menu Paramètres > Accessibilité > Souris. Là encore, ça n'a rien changé.
* Les touches du pavé ne sont pas non plus reconnues lors du boot

c'est le logitech que l'on voit dans le retour de "lsusb" ?
avez vous essayer de redémarrer le pc avec le pavé branché ?

Bonjour Alca94,

Le Logitech correspond à la souris Logitech M545 du xinput.

Le pavé numérique est: Bus 001 Device 009: ID fff7:5001 et correspond aux lignes Keypad USB Keypad de xinput.

Redémarrer la session ou l'ordinateur ne change rien.

À noter que désactiver "Num Lock" en appuyant sur ce bouton du pavé rend toutes les touches muettes. xev ne log plus rien jusqu'à ce que Num Lock soit réactivé.

À noter que désactiver "Num Lock" en appuyant sur ce bouton du pavé rend toutes les touches muettes.

c'est à dire que vous avez installer "numlockx"

Non, le paquet `numlockx` n'était pas installé à ce moment-là.

J'ai fait d'autres tests après avoir l'installé, mais cela n'a rien changé. Je l'ai donc supprimé.

mais c'est lequel dans le retour lsusb ?
celui là : Bus 001 Device 009: ID fff7:5001
il doit bien y avoir une marque et une référence dessus ?

Dans le retour lsusb, c'est la ligne: Bus 001 Device 009: ID fff7:5001

La marque est "iBuffalo", truc chinois très populaire là où j'habite (Vietnam).

je ne sais plus quoi vous dire ,
Avez vous essayer de changer de port USB et d'éviter une prise USB3 ?

c'est peut-être le pavé qui ne fonctionne pas car j'en ai un de marque "silvercrest" et il est reconnu d'office (comme n'importe périphérique usb)

J'ai essayé tous les ports USB. Sans succès. Ils sont d'ailleurs tous USB3: https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultraboo … fications/

Le pavé fonctionne parfaitement sur Windows.
