Réinstallation d'ubuntu après un kernel panic

Bonjour,

J'ai un pc sous Ubuntu 14.04 qui a un peu foirer avec un "kernel panic", et je dois donc réinstaller Ubuntu, mais j'aimerais conserver le maximum de dossiers et fichiers personels, paramètres système, logiciels installés, etc... Quels dossiers système pourrais-je conserver (à part le dossier "home", que j'ai déjà copier) pour les copier ensuite dans mon nouveau ubuntu sans retrouver le même problème ou sans en créer de nouveaux ?

Mais avant de te lancer là-dedans, ce serait bien de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session Live de Ubuntu 14.04 et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse afin qu'on puisse vérifier s'il n'y a pas de malaise déjà visible.

Euh un kernel panic est loin d'être une raison de réinstaller.
Est-ce que ça a été ta seule réflexion ou alors le kernel panic est une chose parmi d'autres qui te font penser à la réinstallation ?

Je ne sais pas trop à quoi correspond le kernel panic, mais le pc ne peut plus booter directement sur le disque, j'ai utiliser une live pour récupérer des documents importants, mais je ne trouve pas d'autres solutions...

C'est quand le noyau Linux panique, c'est-à-dire qu'il se passe quelque chose qu'il ne devrait pas se passer ; ça peut arriver quand un matériel est défectueux ou quand un pilote est mal programmé, par exemple.

Ça peut aussi arriver quand tu as foiré une config du démarrage, par exemple en donnant au noyau le mauvais nom de disque sur lequel démarrer...

Pour pouvoir en dire plus, on aurait besoin de savoir précisément ce qu'il dit quand il y a ce kernel panic, car il donne des détails à ce moment-là. Tu peux par exemple faire une capture d'écran.

Le boot-info permettra de dépister assez facilement certains cas de figure, déjà...

As-tu essayé en sélectionnant un ancien noyau dans le menu de démarrage ?

J'ai essayer toutes les options de démarrage, ça se finit toujours sur un screen violet et plus rien se passe, je dirais un plantage...

Bonjour,
J'ai aussi des problèmes avec des Kernel panic répétitif (enfin, trois fois en une semaine) mais plus depuis deux semaines. Mais lors du dernier, Chomium fonctionne mal. Par exemple il me laisse un message comme quoi il a planté brusquement alors ... qu'il n'a pas du tout planté ! Depuis, en haut à droite j'ai un triangle d'alerte de couleur jaune avec un ! blanc.
J'avais posté 2 messages il y a peut-être un mois, un mois et demi.

Il y a un moyen de démarrer en affichant les messages qui défilent, mais je ne me rappelle plus comment...

Bonjour.

Essayer de redémarrer en mode recovery.  On sélectionne la deuxième ligne du menu Grub, options avancées.... Sélectionner le noyau qui ne démarre pas, mais sur la ligne démarrage en recovery.  Çà va afficher les message d'erreur si je ne me trompe pas.

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!...  Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Pour répondre quand même à ta toute toute première question :

Quels dossiers système pourrais-je conserver (à part le dossier "home", que j'ai déjà copier)

/etc
/usr/local, peut-être
/opt, peut-être
Mais à ne pas replacer tel quel, il faudra piocher dedans selon le besoin, si nécessaire

Ce qui peut être très intéressant c'est la commande "dpkg --get-selections" lancée dans un chroot.

Il faut le faire dans un chroot, sur le live.

La je suis sur mon téléphone donc désolé ce serait trop long à expliquer... Si en cherchant de la doc tu ne comprends toujours pas, alors demain je pourrai détailler.

Ben j'abandonne, je suis pas foutu de faire un chroot xD c'pas grave y avait pas beaucoup de logiciels installés de toute façon, c'est pas indispensable et je vais galérer pour trouver 3 pauv' logiciels...
