[Résolu] /boot à 100%
Bonjour,
j'ai ce message dès que je démarre mon ordi, et comme je suis entièrement novice, je ne sais pas comment faire pour résoudre le problème. J'ai ouvert un terminal et fait:
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get clean
Mais cela n'a pas résolu le problème!

c'est plus complexe et un classqiue du genre : c'est que tu dois avoir trop de noyau
Désolé mais je n'ai pas le temps pour les détails. essaies avec la fonction de recherche..

Bonsoir,
Tu l'as déjà installé ?
Tu le lances dans le terminal avec
sudo kclean -k
Ça va te montrer les noyaux qui seront supprimés et te poser 2 questions, tu réponds n à la première et o à la deuxième :
Voulez vous indiquer manuellement des paquets à conserver ? [o/N] :n
Voulez vous supprimer l'ensemble des paquets indiques ? [o/N] :o
Et tu laisses mouliner.

Je ne l'avais pas installé.

Bon, on va s'en passer. Pour toutes les commandes, donne bien les retours complets entre balises code (explications ici).
Pour savoir qur quel version d'Ubuntu tu tournes :
cat /etc/issue
uname -a
echo "${XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP}"
Pour voir les noyaux installés :
df -h
df -i
dpkg -l | grep -Ei "linux-headers|linux-image"
ls /boot -l
on voit ce que donne une mise à jour (ça va sûrement foirer mais les messages d'erreur aident) :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Il y a 8 noyaux installés, pour bien faire il faudrait en supprimer 6 (les plus anciens).
Si tu as déjà installé synaptic on peut l'utiliser pour en supprimer quelques uns. Dans synaptic, recherche les paquets installés contenant "3.13.0-45", sélectionne-les, marque les pour suppression complète et applique. Ensuite, ferme synaptic
Si tu n'as pas synaptic, tu peux faire (triple clic pour sélectionner la ligne entière) :
sudo apt-get purge linux-headers-3.13.0-45 linux-headers-3.13.0-45-generic linux-image-3.13.0-45-generic
Et dans les deux cas, refais
df -h
dpkg -l | grep -Ei "linux-headers|linux-image"
ls /boot -l
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Donc, j'ai peur que ni kclean, ni les commandes apt ne fonctionnent
Il va falloir le faire "à la sauvage" puis rectifier ensuite.

Il suffit supprimer 3 initrd :

- la méthode dite douce : apt via kclean ou pas : s'il y a encore un peu de place
- la méthode dite brutale : tu gicles des noyaux à coup de pied au cc. via un rm, tu installes les maj en attente puis tu supprimes les noyaux avec la méthode douce.
ça fonctionne mais elle n'aime pas...
- la méthode dite "de la sulfateuse" : tu gicles tous les noyaux sauf les 2 derniers à coup de rm (et non pas juste ce qu'il faut en calculant comme la méthode précédente ). tu fais les maj puis un bon coup de apt-get purge.

Je suis bien d'accord avec ça. Mais du coup j'éviterais kclean... Il y a un bug et comme je ne sais pas exactement en quoi il consiste, ni comment c'est susceptible de se comporter dans telle ou telle situation...
J'ai rencontré un cas où les deux noyaux les plus récents semblaient installés (tout y était, dans /boot) et en fait non. Il y avait eu une erreur quelque part en toute fin d'installation probablement, si bien que le système tournait avec le noyau n-2. Je ne sais pas ce que fait kclean dans ce genre de cas, mais moi je ne m'y fierais pas... L'idéal, si on veut du graphique, c'est synaptic. Ne fut-ce que parce qu'on a des chances de comprendre ce qui se passe et ce qu'on fait pour y remédier... Alors qu'avec un machin à cliquer, de surcroît bugué, c'est-à-dire qui ne fait pas toujours ce qu'il est censé faire...

J'avais cru comprendre que kclean avait un problème avec les signed ou quand le noyau utilisé n'était pas le dernier installé. Et c'est vrai que si on peut utiliser synaptic, c'est facile et propre.

Oui et le bug est résolu ainsi que pour les noyaux lowlatency de Ubuntu-Studio. Vous pouvez donc utiliser kclean (dans la dernière version : 3.9+) en toute confiance sauf dans le cas présent où il est déjà trop tard car kclean ne peut pas être installé.
Bonne continuation et je ne doute pas que ce problème finira par être résolu.
EDIT : la ligne magique pour résoudre le problème d’un coup (si toutefois /usr/src n’est pas non plus à 100%) mais incompréhensible pour le commun des mortels donc pas pédagogique pour un sou (et il vaut mieux commencer par rediriger vers le blog de tiramiseb pour la pédagogie) :
sudo apt-get purge $(dpkg -l | egrep 'linux-(image|headers)-[0-9]' | cut -d' ' -f3 | grep -v $(uname -r | cut -d- -f1,2) | cut -d- -f-4 | sort -t- -k3,4 | uniq | head -n-2)

Tu peux toujours faire :
df -h
Ça te permet de voir si l'opération précédente a arrangé quelque chose, au niveau de la place sur /boot
Je pense, puisqu'il y a apparemment eu ça de fait :
update-initramfs: Deleting /boot/initrd.img-3.13.0-45-generic
Et rien d'autre, à peu de choses près... Donc, grosso modo, l'équivalent de ça :
sudo rm /boot/initrd.img-3.13.0-45-generic
que j'avais proposé plus haut...
