[Résolu] Double boot Ubuntu, Win8 ne démarre plus.
Bonjour à tous,
Afin de remettre de l'ordre dans mon pc 
j'ai voulu modifier mes partitions (ça c'est fait), modifier mon GRUB (ça c'est le gros soucis) et réinstaller Ubuntu.
La modification de la taille des partitions s'est faite sur ce post
Le gros soucis est arrivé quand j'ai voulu changer l'ordre de mon GRUB.
J'ai utilisé pour cela le logiciel boot-repair en gardant toutes les options de base sauf sur la dernière page une option qui concernait Windows (je n'ai plus accès au logiciel sous cette session)

Alors si j'ai bien compris l'aventure.
Tu as gardé ton Windows8 avec ses partitions sans changer la taille. (/sda1, /sda2 et /sda3) .
Tu as supprimé les partition qui contenaient Ubuntu (/sda5, /sda5 et /sda6).
Et là, tu commences à prévoir de faire des bêtises.

Pour l'instant je ne change pas la taille de C:@Moko
J'ai fait la manip pour réduire la partition étendue sda4, ça a marché nickel ! Merci !Il me reste 2 choses importantes :
- Remettre en place mon GRUB pour qu'il prenne windowd en compte de nouveau (pour l'instant, je ne touche rien, j'attends les conseils, trop peur de faire une nouvelle bêtise)
- Re-installer Ubuntu à la place de l'ancien (pour cause de mot de passe à changer)
Et là, pour l'un comme pour l'autre (peut-être les 2 ensemble) je suis preneur de tout conseil !
Ubuntu supprimé. On ne touche pas à Grub pour le moment... Je sais Windows ne redémarre plus, mais... Comme tu réinstalles Ubuntu, Grub sera réinstaller correctement, si tu ne fais pas de bêtises. Mais tu en as fais, le boot info le montre, on va commenter çà en suite.
Il suffisait de refaire l'installation de Ubuntu à coté de Windows, en changeant la taille de partitions.
Donc encore une partition étendue /sda4 de tous l'espace disque restant, et les partitions logiques qui te convenaient pour installer...
Alors le Boot Info, il est là.

On continue le commentaire du boot info.
os-prober ne trouve pas ton Windows.
Dans le fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg de /sda5.
Il devrait être là dans la rubrique suivante;

Il faut faire appelle aux contributeurs qui savent.
Dans un premier temps, tu peux essayer avec Boot-Repair, de réinstaller Grub dans /sda5 en mettant la première partie dans /sda sans n° de partition.
Mais il faut le faire depuis une session live lancée en mode Bios. Pas en UEFI. Est-ce que çà va suffire?... À voir.
Et donner ici l'URL du boot info, que l'on voit comment çà se passe.
Autrement. Je ne sais pas si le fait de réécrire un secteur de boot correcte (windowsien) dans la partition /sda2 à l'aide de testdisk, sera suffisant?.
Je pense que le mieux serait de reconstruire le BCD de Windows avec les outils Windows, mais il faut un DVD d'installation, ou une console de récupération Windows8 pour le faire.
Puis lorsque Windows redémarre, réinstaller Grub correctement dans /sda5 et /sda . Pour avoir le menu grub, et les deux Os à démarrer depuis ce menu.

Babdu89 : tout d'abord un grand merci pour ton aide.
Il s'est passé moins de choses que ce que tu dis.
Win8 et Ubuntu 12.10 marchaient parfaitement (même si le grub n'était pas forcément là où il faut, c'est l'install d'ubuntu qui avait géré ça à l'époque).
Suite aux raisons données plus haut, j'ai réduit la partition Ubuntu, puis j'ai (mal) réinstallé le Grub.
[Ubuntu n'a pas été supprimé] [Win8 marchait bien jusqu'à cette reinstallation du Grub]
Je pense que tu as identifié le problème principal : réinstallation de Grub en EFI
Je vais donc retenter de réinstaller le Grub.
Voici mon premier problème :
Il faut lancer une session live en mode Bios_Legacy, et non UEFI.
Il suffit de changer l'ordre du boot dans le bios ? Ma clé live-USB est toujours valable ?

Comme l'a dit Moko, dès que possible j'installerai la 14.04.

Ou il vaut mieux d'abord régler un problème après l'autre en utilisant boot-repair (pour info, mon ubuntu actuel se lance bien, mais il est complètement inutilisable car j'ai oublié le mdp (trop longtemps sans utiliser)).

Le Ubuntu 12.10 démarre mais pas de mot de passe. Donc inutilisable . Il faut réinstaller un 14.04, en essayant de récupérer le /home existant, on va voir çà . .
Alors, Stop, on ne fait rien!...
Ce n'est pas une réinstallation de Grub qui va arranger les choses. Plus de mot de passe çà ne sert à rien.
Si Windows ne démarre pas, c'est lui qu'il faut réparer en premier. Comme je le dis plus haut.
Et là ,on va avoir besoin de conseils et aide pour les manip de contributeurs qui connaissent Windows7.
Il faut voir si en réparant le boot loader de Windows çà va suffire.
Normalement la réparation du boot loader de Windows, va supprimer Grub première partie qui est dans le secteur de boot du hdd d'installation. Puisque c 'est un MBR compatible Windows qui va écraser Grub première partie.
Windows redémarrant, avec Boot-Repair en session live. Normalement;
Soit on réinstallera Grub , mais çà ne sert à rien dans ton cas le 12.10 n'a plus de mot de passe.
Soit ou on installe un nouveau Linux qui installera Grub correctement en même temps.
Pendant l'installation nouvelle. On va voir si on peut récupérer le /home de l'ancienne installation.
On mettra Grub première partie dans, le secteur de boot du hdd (/dev/sda sans n° de partition) .
Comme çà, on retrouve un menu Grub fonctionnel avec la possibilité de lancer Windows et Ubuntu.
Pour l'ordre des Os, on peut changer çà dans les fichiers de configuration de Grub. Pour avoir l'Os qu'on veut, en premier au menu Grub
Voila, il faut appeler de l'aide pour réparer Windows, avant toute chose...

J'ai attendu un peu, mais ton message est arrivé juste après.
Ca a en partie marché.
J'ai de nouveau accès à windows, mais avec 2 options au lieu d'une avant (sda1 et sda2). 
J'ai choisi sda1 et ça a marché...
Il reste que c'est un peu le bazard et qu'ubuntu se lance toujours en 1er

- le check disk
- le redimensionnement de D: depuis windows
- Réinstaller Ubuntu

Mince décidément... Tout ça c'est croisé.
Dès que je reviens sous Ubuntu je lance un boot-info pour voir où on en est.
A priori ça ne change pas grand chose à ce que tu proposes, c'est à dire, netoyer tout ce qui est grub pour repartir sur des bases propres et ainsi réinstaller Ubuntu proprement.
Je fais mes impressions, je fais le boot-info, puis je ne fais PLUS RIEN avant d'avoir des consignes. Promis.

A priori ça ne change pas grand chose à ce que tu proposes, c'est à dire, netoyer tout ce qui est grub pour repartir sur des bases propres et ainsi réinstaller Ubuntu proprement.
Mais qu'est-ce que c'est que cette "lubie" de vouloir nettoyer Grub!!???.
Avec Grub, il n'y a rien à nettoyer. Soit on le met à jour, soit on le réinstalle, soit on le supprime.
Ah oui, ton nettoyage concerne le secteur de boot de la partition Windows /sda2 ...
Grub première partie est dans le secteur de boot de la partition /sda2. Comme c'est actuellement, ce n'est pas propre, mais çà n'empêche pas de marcher.
Malbo le rappelle, on peut faire çà avec testdisk comme je l'ai indiqué plus haut. YannUbuntu explique en détail comment faire ici;

La réinstallation de Grub en final avec Boot-Repair, n'est pas nécessaire, puisque tu vas réinstaller un Ubuntu. Grub sera réinstaller correctement à ce moment là.
Rappel;
En gros, Grub s'installe en deux parties.
La première partie généralement dans le secteur de boot du hdd qui reçoit l'installation du Linux. On peut le mettre ailleurs dans le secteur de boot de la partition Linux, par exemple si on veut chaîner les Os d'une certaine manière. Mais on ne l'installe pas dans le secteur de boot d'une partition système Windows.
La deuxième partie dans les dossiers système du Linux.
Les deux parties sont installés en même temps. C'est indissociable.
Au démarrage de la machine, le système lit les secteurs de boot à la recherche d'un chargeur de démarrage. Trouve la première partie de Grub. Celle-ci pointe vers la deuxième partie, ce qui permet de charger l'Os. On a affichage du menu grub.
J'ai de nouveau accès à windows, mais avec 2 options au lieu d'une avant (sda1 et sda2).
Bon , alors OK! le Windows marche maintenant.
Reste à voir pour une réinstallation d'un Ubuntu version ressente , soutenue à long terme, et qui marche sur la machine. La 14.04.2 semble convenir, puisque utilisée en session live.
Pour le savoir, rien de tel que l'utilisation de ce que l'on a l’intention d'installer, en session live. Avant installation, çà permet de savoir si la machine est bien prise en charge par le système...

Donc la bonne solution est de laisser tomber le grub tant que ça marche et de refaire une installation d'Ubuntu.
Effectivement, la 14.04 de ma live session fonctionne bien. Autant continuer comme ça. Il faudra bien penser à la mettre en bios_legacy cette fois.
Si mes souvenirs sont bons, il faudra choisir "autre chose", puis installer à coté de windows.

Alors /dev/sda = disque dur (a; le premier b, le deuxième &&& ) sans indique de n° de partition.
/dev/sda5 = la 5 éme partition du premier disque .

hdd (hard drive disk en Anglais, il me semble) = disque dur.
Donc la première partie de Grub dans le secteur de boot (secteur d'amorçage) du disque dur d'installation.
C'est ce que l'on voit dans les boot info
=> Grub2 (v2.00) is installed in the MBR of /dev/sda and looks at sector 1 of
the same hard drive for core.img. core.img is at this location and looks
for (,msdos5)/boot/grub.En Français;
Grub2 (la première partie) est installé dans le MBR (master boot record ; secteur de boot, ou secteur d'amorçage) de /dev/sda ( sans n° de partition, c'est le disque dur d'installation) et regarde dans le secteur 1 du du même disque dur, pour (pointe vers le fichier, dans la deuxième partie de Grub) core.img, localisé dans la partition /dev/sda5 (là ou est installer Ubuntu 12.10) dans le dossier /boot/grub ( qui est dans la deuxième partie de grub).
Ceci permettant le lancement du chargement de l'Os.
Les disque dur et partitions ont un secteur d'amorçage, généralement le premier secteur.
Si tu est curieux de ceci, dans la doc , le Wiki &&&, tu trouveras à t'informer sur les disques et partitions. 
Si mes souvenirs sont bons, il faudra choisir "autre chose", puis installer à coté de windows.
Exactement pour attribuer la/les partition d'installation. Et, dans le champ " Programme de démarrage" , indiquer de mettre Grub première partie dans /dev/sda sans N° de partition.
Tu te fais aider à ce moment là de l'installation.

Si la taille des partition /dev/sda5 ext4 pour le système et /dev/sda6 pour le swap te convient.
En passant par autre chose, tu indiques ces partitions;
/dev/sda5 pour le système:
Pour la taille on ne touche pas.
Format de fichier " système de fichiers journalisé ext4 "
Point de montage tu choisis /
Tu coches "Formater".
Tu valides.
Dans la fenêtre principale, dans le champ "Indiquer où mettre le programme de démarrage"
Tu choisis ; /dev/sda sans n° de partition.
Puis tu continues l'installation. Lorsque c'est fini, au redémarrage ,dans le menu Grub Ubuntu et Windows doivent re proposer et démarrer.

Justement, Babdu89, je crois que youppla n'a pas une idée précise des tailles utiles, et qu'il attend des précisions de toi.
Ne crois-tu pas qu'il pourrait réduire de moitié (environ) sda5 (et sda4 après désactivation de la swap) pour agrandir (depuis win8) D:sda3 d'autant ?

Merci Babdu ! J'ai bien noté tout cela. J'ai justement une fenêtre de temps qui se profile avant le repas, je vais tenter ça !
Merci aussi Moko ! J'ai déjà considérablement réduit sda5 (et sda4) puisqu'elle faisait 300 Go.
Ensuite j'ai récupéré tout cela dans sda3 (Echange) depuis windows. Du coup, j'ai plus de 560 Go, j'ai pu désengorger ma partition avec Windows.
Merci pour toutes ces infos. J'allume l'autre ordi en cas de pépin ou de demande de précision.

J'ai toujours 2 loaders pour windows, mais bon ça ne me gène pas (un dans sda1 et un dans sda2). J'utilise le premier.
Reste à changer l'ordre du Grub.
Un copain m'envoyait ceci :
tu commences par ça dans un terminal
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
ensuite, tu modifies la ligne "GRUB_DEFAULT=..."
et tu mets le bon numéro.
te enregistres le fichier et le fermestu fais un petit
sudo update-grub
et ça devrait le faire !
C'est le "devrait" qui m'inquiète... Même si j'ai tendance à lui faire confiance. Vous en pensez quoi ?
