Conseil installation tripleboot Win7-Win8-Ubuntu
Bonjour à tous,
Je viens d'acquérir un nouveau pc portable avec Bios Uefi et partition GPT!Je souhaiterais savoir comment installer Ubuntu en sachant que je souhaite l'installer en parallèle de win7 et win8?
Egalement quel version le conseillez vous entre Ubuntu, Xubuntu suivant ma config?

Je te suggère de créer une LiveUSB Ubuntu 14.04.2 en suivant cette recette : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1790091
Ensuite, fait un essai en session live (ordi démarré sur la LiveUSB, sélection "Try Ubuntu without installing") et depuis cette session, fais un Boot-Info et donne l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse. Je pourrai ainsi voir comment est ton install actuelle et te conseiller en conséquence pour l'install de Ubuntu.
EDIT : peut-être que la version 14.04.1 de Ubuntu pourrait convenir mais comme je ne suis pas sûr qu'elle prenne bien en charge ton matériel dès l'essai en session live, je préfère bétonner et te proposer Ubuntu 14.04.2

A l'étape 1 de ce tuto, tu peux suivre ce qui est expliqué pour faire maigrir le disque C: de Windows 8 afin de dégager de la place pour Ubuntu. Ensuite, le fait que Windows 7 soit présent en plus de Windows 8 ne change rien à mon avis et je pense que tu peux suivre ce pas à pas jusqu'au bout.

!!Le tuto me parait tres clair...néanmoins une question subsiste: je compte installer windows 10 dans quelque temps, est ce que je devrai reinstaller grub depuis le liveUSB afin de réparer le boot ? (car je presume que windows 10 va me flinguer mon boot!!)

Non, tu n'auras pas à réinstaller Grub. C'est seulement que tu risques (et même je ne suis pas du tout sûr que ça arrivera) d'avoir à remettre ubuntu en priorité de démarrage devant Windows, ce qui est une formalité avec un ordi Asus parce que Asus ne bride pas le démarrage sur Windows, contrairement à d'autres fabricants à bonnet d'âne. J'en parle dans ce post : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p20257451 (mais la procédure que j'indique dans ce post n'est pas indispensable : il devrait suffire de changer la priorité de démarrage dans l'UEFI comme je t'ai indiqué)

Bonjour.
Si tu choisis d'installer windows 10 comme un nouvel OS, c'est une certitude il deviendra prioritaire!
Tu devras remettre ubuntu en priorité au démarrage.
Tu auras toujours un double boot.
Choisir entre toutes les versions des OS linux et .buntu ou LE bootloader de windows
Si tu choisis le bootloader de windows, alors, il te proposera la liste des OS de windows qu'il connaît cela peut être supérieur à deux.
Si tu choisis de faire un update de l'un de tes windows existants.... Cela ne devrait pas avoir d'impact.

OK, ça change singulièrement le sens de la phrase. Quant à moi, je ne suis pas clair non plus parce que j'ai répondu comme si notre ami allait faire la mise à jour gratuite (de Windows 7 ou Windows 8 ?) vers Windows 10 mais ce n'est peut-être pas du tout son projet et il veut peut-être placer ses dollars dans l'achat d'une licence pour Windows 10 afin de réaliser une installation toute propre de Windows 10.

Salut les gars,
Merci pour vos éclaircissements. J'ai épluché les tutos d'installation d'ubuntu en cohabitation avec win7 et win 8 / UFI et rien de bien compliqué, cela est à ma portée. Concernant win 10 je peux faire la mise à jour de win 8 (qui était installer en natif dans ma bécane) ou une nouvelle installation avec la RTM. J’avoue que je n'ai jamais fait de mise à jour d'une version de windows à une autre et pour être franc cela ne me tente pas trop...Deja que windows est capricieux mais alors avec une mise à jours j'ai peur du résultat...Donc je pense faire l'installation au propre de win 10 sur ma partoche de 8.1 et tout en conservant win7 (peut pas le virer lui 
) En parallèle j'installerais ubuntu sur ma troisième partition. je vous tiens au courant des que lance tout ça, c'est à dire ce week end certainement..
