[Résolu] Plantages aléatoires sous Xubuntu

Bonjour,

      Un copain, lassé par Windows et tout ce que çà amène m'a demandé de l'aide. Je lui ai conseillé de passer sous Linux.

Il a une vieille rougne de 2006 avec 1 Go de mémoire.
Il a installé Ubuntu 14.04, ce qui n'a pas tardé à lui poser problème. Ca ramait pire que XP ...
Je lui ai fait changer d'environnement et lui ai fait instller Xfce et virer Unity.

Ca s'est nettement améliore question temps de réponse, mais il a commencé à avoir des plantages (qu'il n'avait pas sous Ubuntu) qui survenaient au bout de quelques minutes, voir quelques dizaines de minutes. Seule solution : bouton. Pas top ...

Son disque dur a ensuite rendu l'âme, il l'a changé par un 1 To rutilant, et je lui ai cette fois fait installer Xubuntu 14.04 (c'est tout ce qu'il avait). Tout c'est bien passé à l'install, mais les plantages ont repris de plus belle.

J'avais pensé à un plantage de X, mais Ctrl-Alt-F2 ne fait absolument rien donc probablement plantage.

On pourrait penser que c'est un problème matériel, et pourtant, il n'en est rien. En effet, Je suis resté deux ou trois fois pendant plusieurs heures connecté avec TeamViewer, et pas de plantage ...

Je pense donc qu'il y a un problème avec Xubuntu, et que celui-ci pourrait peut-être porter sur un driver.
Je ne suis sûr de rien, mais j'ai trouvé dans les forums, ici, quelques cas de plantage, alors que çà fonctionnait avec vnc, alors, je me dis que c'est peut-être similaire ...

Un plantage du thread khubd qui est créé lorsqu'un périphérique usb est connecté.
En l'occurence, c'est lors de la déconnection que khubd se plante
Puis ensuite Xorg.

La solution serait de tenter sur une autre distribution avec un noyau différent de 3.13.0-61.
J'ai fait une recherche de bug sur ce noyau mais je n'ai rien trouvé ayant khubd comme origine

Je propose de faire un memtest à partir de la live.
Il peut aussi régler la swappiness (dans tous les cas ça fera du bien)

J'ai remarqué que l'espace swap est un peu léger (mais ce n'est pas si grave) il est clair que 1Go de RAM en plus transformerait la machine, sinon

En l'occurence, c'est lors de la déconnection que khubd se plante
Puis ensuite Xorg.

Bien, on a une piste, et peut-être la solution.
Si Xorg se plante ensuite, çà pourrait aussi expliquer qu'il ne me soit plus possible de changer de session, car je suppose que le clavier est en usb aussi ...

La solution, en effet, car le copain a une imprimante usb Dell pour lequel le driver n'existe pas.
J'avais trouvé un palliatif, et j'ai réinstallé le driver. Malheureusement, ça ne fonctionne pas.

Cà pourrait avoir un lien ... surtout si j'avais fait l'install du driver avant réinstall de Xubuntu (je ne me souviens pas bien)

Bon, je viens de désinstaller le deb du driver Lexmark, et çà ne change rien.

Le copain a toujours des plantages de Xubuntu (en fait, çà ressemble à un plantage), mais c'est en vérité un plantage de l'usb.
Et encore ...

Alors que j'étais connecté avec Teaviewer, lui, au bout de très peu de temps n'a plus eu de souris. J'ai bossé sur son ordi plus de deux heures, et je me suis aperçu qu'il pouvait encore se servir de son clavier.

Donc usb oui, mais pourquoi avait-il encore le clavier ?

Là, je sèche ...

Il n'a maintenant que deux devices sur usb : la souris et le clavier
Il a essayé avec les usb de devant la tour, et c'est pareil
il a changé la souris (une neuve)

Je pensais peut-être à un pb mémoire, mais pourquoi ne planterai-je pas avec TeamViewer ?
Je pense que je vais faire remontrer un bug sur Launchpad, car je ne vois vraiment plus quoi faire...

Cable défectueux : où çà dans la bécane entre la carte mère et les connecteurs ?

Bon, j'ai fait la modif de grub.
Le copain me prévient si çà continue ou non ...
Il avait changé le clavier et la souris de hub usb, la souris et le clavier sont passés de 2-4 et 2-3 à 2-5 et 2-6
Il ne semble pas possible d'utiliser les 1-x
De plus, je lui ai fait débrancher une webcam que j'ai trouvé avec un lsusb.

Bon, çà fait une heure qu'il a rebooté, et, semble-t-il pas de plantage.
Je le vois parce qu'à chaque connexion, çà m'envoie un mail, et je sais qu'il est toujours connecté, car je le vois au niveau de TeamViewer.
Au détail près qu'il pourrait laisser l'ordi planté, mais je ne pense pas.

Bon, les plantages continuent par rafale, mais il semble que les périodes sans plantages s'allongent sensiblement, pour preuve les redémarrages relevés aujourd'hui, et encore, je pense que dans le tas, il y a un arrêt et changement de clavier pour test ...
08:46, 08:52, 09:07, 09:12, 10:26, 10:39, 13:13, et rien jusqu'à maintenant 15:30 17.04

Si les plantages sont moins rapprochés, il n'en demeure pas moins qu'ils sont encore là.

Sur le dernier log, on voit encore qu'il s'agit de la souris. Je suis en train de me demander si ce ne serait pas un bug du driver de souris ...

oui nam, post 8, ca a été fait.
Pour savoir si c'est vraiment un problème matériel ou pas, ce serait pas mal d'utiliser l'ordinateur à partir d'un live cd
