lecture vidéos 4k UDH sous Ubuntu

Bonsoir à tous,
Je suis sous Ubuntu 14.04.
J'ai un smartphone (Oneplus one) avec lequel j'ai réalisé (malencontreusement) des vidéo en 4k UHD...
Se pose donc la question de la lecture de ces vidéos avec logiciel adapté car les lecteurs habituels n'y arrivent pas. Les vidéos sont saccadées...
Est-ce que ça existe sous Ubuntu ??

C'est sûr que l'Ultra Haute Définition, ça consomme...

Soit ça marche en fermant toutes les applications et en testant divers lecteurs (mplayer étant léger, est à tester parmi les premiers),

Soit tu passes tes videos sur un pc plus puissant,

Soit tu les convertis.

OK... Donc le fait que ça saccade est lié uniquement à la puissance du pc et pas à l'incapacité de Totem, VLC,... à lire un tel format ?

Salut,

Comme moko138 te l'a suggéré, essaye avec mplayer, VLC étant assez lourd et "réputé" ne pas être parfait pour ce genre d'exercice. Pour pouvoir répondre à ta question précisément, il faudrait indiquer dans le détail de quel ordi tu disposes.

On connait la résolution de ta vidéo, c'est une chose.
Ensuite il faut savoir l'encodage de la vidéo et ensuite ça sera plus facile de de t'aiguiller sur un lecteur vidéo compatible.

En faisant des recherches, le format AVC semble être le format vidéo par defaut sur ton téléphone. (donc pleinement compatible avec VLC)

Dans VLC, l'accéleration matériel est activé ? Les pilotes de la carte graphiques sont à jour ? Si oui, je pense que les saccades viennent du matériel.

J'ai essayé différentes solutions sans grand succès...
J'ai notamment essayé de paramétrer vlc ce qui n'a pas donné grand chose en suivant ce tuto : http://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/astuces/4028.htm
Quand vous parlez de mplayer, vous parlez duquel exactement car il y en a plusieurs dans la logithèque ?
Au niveau maétriel ce n'est pas terrible...

Je pense qu'une HD 7500 y arrive (avec les pilotes proprio) , enfin je crois bien. Mon portable avec une intel HD 4600 y arrive, bon j'ai pas essayé les vidéos mais la réso est gérée sans souci.

Cocher la case utiliser l'accélération matérielle du GPU dans VLC n'est pas suffisant.

il faut avant tout installer le paquet gérant l'accélération matérielle,et le configurer.

vaapi documentation ubuntu

De plus il faut s'assurer que le matérielle puisse gérer l'accélération pour le codec utilisé dans la vidéo,si c'est de l' AVC/x264 il n'y aura pas de probléme,si c'est de l' HEVC/x265 il y a trés peu de matérielle sous linux ayant cette capacitée.
