Grub disparu après Boot-repair suite à màj vers Windows 10
Bonjour,
j'ai bien vu que je n'étais pas le seul à avoir eu le problème, et j'ai vu des discussion sur le même sujet, mais je ne comprends pas ce que je peux faire.
J'étais en dual boot Ubuntu 14.04 / Windows 7 Professionnel
J'ai lancé la mise à jour de Windows 7 Pro vers Windows 10.
Au premier redémarrage, je suis tombé sur grub rescue.
J'ai cru qu'il fallait et j'ai créé un disque de démarrage avec Boot repair et ai démarré dessus.
J'ai lancé boot repair.
J'ai redémarré : je n'ai plus d'écran Grub, je passe directement sur Windows 10 (dont l'installation s'est bien terminée).
Que dois-je faire maintenant ? Comment reconstituer un écran de choix entre Ubuntu et Windows au démarrage ?
Merci d'avance à qui pourra m'aider !

Peux-tu faire un boot-info s'il te plaît.
et donner la référence exacte de ton micro au cas où la nouvelle façon de booter avec windows 10 soit différente (migration EFI)

Ben il n'y a plus de Linux installé sur ton PC. On ne retrouve que la partition Swap.
OS: Ubuntu 22.04 64 bits + Windows 11 64 bits en dualboot (BIOS UEFI, Secure Boot activé et table de partitions GPT)
PC portable HP 17-CP0308NF Processeur: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U avec carte graphique AMD Lucienne intégrée au processeur. Mémoire vive: 16 Go RAM

On constate que la partition swap est en fin de partition étendue. C'est le symptôme de ce bug de Windows 10 : Mise à jour gratuite de Windows 7 vers Windows 10 : ça pue
Certains arrivent à récupérer leurs données, d'autres n'y parviennent pas.
EDIT le 5 janv 2016 : pour mon usage perso, je rajoute ce petit commentaire :
Dans le Boot-Info du post #3, on peut voir dans la partie "blkid" output" la présence de lignes /dev/zram0, /dev/zram1.... Après des recherches sur le forum, je me rends compte que c'est cette saloperie de Boot-Repair-Disk qui utilise zram. Dans presque tous les Boot-Info dans lesquels je trouve /dev/zram0, je constate que le Boot-Info a été fait depuis une session live de Boot-Repair-Disk et je trouve une ligne :
is executed in live-session (Boot-Repair-Disk 64bit 29nov2014, trusty, Ubuntu, x86_64)
Comme Boot-Repair-Disk a été réalisé sur la base de Lubuntu 14.04 (c'est mentionné par Babdu89 dans ce post), je suppose qu'une session live de Lubuntu devrait fonctionner pareil (avec zram).

Salut,
Le symptôme est bien expliqué par malbo. Les cas commencent à se multiplier. On peut tenter de récupérer la partition via testdisk (perso, j'ai réussi sur un pc virtuel). Il faut booter sur le live cd, puis l'installer et le lancer ainsi (à partir d'un terminal):
sudo apt-get install testdisk
sudo testdisk
Une fois que testdisk est lancé :
- No Log
- Tu choisis ton disque dur
- Intel
- Analyse (une capture d'écran)
- Quick Search (une autre capture d'écran)
Tu proposes le résultat de chaque photo.
