Sous GNU/Linux, l'administrateur c'est root et il est fortement déconseillé de se connecter à une session graphique en tant que root auquel cas, la session utilisateur pourrait devenir instable voir inutilisable.
.xsession-errors ne nous aide pas beaucoup sur ce coup-là.
Essayons autre chose.
Toujours sur une session où aucun périphérique de stockage n'est reconnu, donnes le retour de
ps -o user,cmd -C dbus-daemonDonne aussi les retours de
dpkg -l

la 2nde, il manque une partie : des paquets commençant par les lettres A à M sont passés à la trappe. Soit lors du copié-collé, soit parce que le terminal les a avalé (quel goinfre celui-là parfois !). Il faut alors paramétrer le nombre de lignes maximum gardé en mémoire. Mettre le double devrait suffir.
La dernière, erreur de ma part :

Tout à fait. Et je supposes que tu penses que l'utilisateur lhelgoualch est administrateur mais c'est faux. lhelgoualch n'est qu'un utilisateur à qui l'on accorde lorsque c'est nécessaire des tâches administratrices. Par exemple, lors de mises à jour du système ou lors de création de comptes ou encore lors de l'installation d'une imprimante. Pour ces tâches, il t'est demandé à chaque fois un mot de passe ce qui signifie qu'à cet instant tu vas passer de simple utilisateur à administrateur, mais uniquement pour cette tâche.
En paralèlle, si tu ouvres un navigateur internet, il ne sera exécuté qu'en tant qu'utilisateur et c'est bien plus rassurant en terme de sécurité. C'est ce qui fait que les systèmes GNU/Linux sont bien moins vulnérables que les systèmes Microsoft où l'on peut se connecter en tant qu'administrateur pour une session toute entière. Cela s'améliore mais pas au point de se passer d'un antivirus (un autre souci étant les logiciels tierces qu'il faut se procurer à gauche à droite sur internet...)
De plus, le compte root a été désactivé par défaut par les développeurs Ubuntu (afin d'éviter que les débutants ne fassent de grosses bêtises), alors à moins que tu aies suivi le début de cette page http://guide.ubuntu-fr.org/server/user-management.html, je ne pense pas que tu te sois déjà connecté à une session graphique en tant que root (Administrateur).
Le fait d'utiliser le terme "administrateur" m'a interpellé et il était important d'éclaircir ce point. J'espère avoir été clair.
