Ok on va tenter de changer le governor quand tu es sur batterie et secteur pour commencer, on verra si ça aide pour ton problème de ventilateur.

C'est quoi la swapiness?
J'ai modifié les lignes comme indiqué et je ne sais pas si c'est à cause de ça mais en redémarrant l ventilateur s'est enclenché et ne s'est pas arrêté avant un bon moment.

Pas tellement, une différence c'est que la l'indicateur du CPU indique que ce dernier est un peu plus sollicité.

Apparemment tu n'es pas le seul à avoir ce genre de problème avec un Thinkpad. Je commence à être à court d'idées personnellement roll ...

Dans certains sujets sur internet, j'ai lu quelque chose à propos d'une option dans le BIOS, notamment sur l'état du processeur des performances (ou de la gestion de l'énergie) sur secteur/batterie, je ne sais pas si ton ordinateur a une option dans le genre ? Tenter d'ajuster les réglages de thinkfan peut être une piste également.

Qqs remarques :
- TLP n'a pas besoin de paquets supplémentaires, ceux-ci concernent les seuils de charge de batterie des Thinkpad ;
- il y a une option dans le BIOS pour régler le comportement du processeur mais je ne sais pas si Ubuntu les respecte ;
- TLP permet de réduire la charge processeur, de mémoire, mais pas par défaut ;
- je possède un vieux Dell 6400 (proc P8600) et il mouline aussi sur des vidéos HD ou du Flash (au passage, essayer de se mettre en HTML5 sous Youtube...) ;
- je n'ai pas bien compris en quoi la swap interviendrait dans la charge processeur ;
- il me semble que le paquet linux-firmware-nonfree ne concerne globalement que certaines cartes wifi et adaptateurs TV ;
- sous Firefox, une solution pour éviter le moulinage est de désactiver/filtrer Flash, pq pas au moyen de NoScript ou autre (autorisation native présente dans FF).

C'est vrai que je n'y avais pas pensé, mais tu peux également tenter d'utiliser les addons Firefox greasemonkey+viewtube (marche très bien chez moi avec un poussif Intel Celeron 925 !) pour voir s'il y a du progrès.

A priori ici le système a adopté les governors stipulés dans le fichier de configuration de TLP (retours #31), je serais tenté de penser que c'est bon de ce côté là ? Après savoir quel governor est plus adapté aux besoins de yasswan et permettrait éventuellement de diminuer le volume sonore du ventilo, je ne sais pas le mieux reste encore pour lui de tester.

Je dois avoué que je me sens un peu largué (Une question HS comment faites-vous pour en savoir autant en informatique et être aussi fort c'est votre métier ou vous êtes plus que passionnés)
J'ai quand même une petite remarque cest que là il met plus de temps à démarrer, l'écran reste noir un long moment avant d'avoir le chargement Xubuntu
Du coup, comment dois-je laisser les paramètres du processeur avant d'utiliser les add-ons firefox etc...?
Je suis déjà aller dans l BIOS et je n'ai rien concernant le vntilateur, j'ai out de même un powerspeed CPU je ne sais plus quoi qui est "Enabeled"

C'est peut-être le nom de l'option que j'ai lu sur internet, essaies de passer cette option sur Disabled pour voir s'il y a du mieux.


Si ton pc met vraiment trop de temps à démarrer, on va essayer de remettre la gestion du CPU comme avant (sur le secteur au moins).
Voici ce que tu vas faire :

sudo nano /etc/default/tlp

Et tu vas modifier la ligne suivante :

CPU_SCALING_GOVERNOR_ON_AC=conservative

En ça :

CPU_SCALING_GOVERNOR_ON_AC=ondemand

Si tu tiens également à appliquer cette modification à quand tu es sur batterie, tu peux également faire la manip suivante :

CPU_SCALING_GOVERNOR_ON_BAT=powersave

Changé en :

CPU_SCALING_GOVERNOR_ON_BAT=ondemand

Une fois tout ça fait, tu redémarre le tout et tu vois (avec l'option du BIOS modifiée) s'il y a du mieux.


Pour les paramètres de firefox, tu peux essayé ce qu'on t'a suggéré au dessus si le coeur t'en dis, ça ne fera pas de mal, et ce n'est absolument pas incompatible avec les autres manipulations concernant le CPU.


Et pour répondre à ta question : ce n'est pas mon métier (je suis encore étudiant), ni mon domaine d'activités, personnellement j'aime bien toucher à tout, je suis un peu bricoleur sur les bords et j'ai une nette tendance aux insomnies donc ça occupe ! Et puis ce sont des choses que j'ai déjà creusé pour la configuration de mon propre pc portable (pour les cours notamment, quand ton pc tient pas longtemps sur batterie, et/ou que c'est une soufflerie ambulante, il faut trouver une solution !).
Après en dehors de ça, il y a plusieurs pro dans l'informatique qui interviennent sur le forum et qui sont beaucoup beaucoup plus calés smile

Pour le fichier tlp j'ai sauvegardé une copie la version par défaut qu'il y avait avant d'y avoir touché mais il me semble que les lignes que j'avais modifiées étaient  commentées

Niveau démarrage tu en es où (vitesse, bruit) ? As-tu effectué les modifications que je te resuggérais dans mon dernier post ?

Pour le ventilo, as-tu essayé en désactivant comme suggéré l'option dans le BIOS dont nous parlions au dessus ?

Pour le retour de dmesg, je ne sais pas ce que nam1962 cherche dedans, je lui laisse le soin de faire l'interprétation de ton retour de commande.

Oui bien sur, ce qui compte c'est que ton ordinateur soit branché, peu importe que si batterie soit chargée à 30, 50 ou 100%.

Je n'ai aps compris en fait s'il s'agit d'une nouvelle tentative ou bien de remettre le fichier à ce qu'il était avant. Comme j'ai dit j'avais gardé une copie du fichier avant de le modifier et les lignes étaient commentées il me semble.

Oui la dernière modification que je t'ai indiqué a pour but de remettre ton fichier dans son état d'origine (mais si tu as fait une copie, tu peux aussi effacer le fichier modifié et renommer ton fichier de sauvegarde en conséquence).

Je vis faire les réglage swapiness que tu m'avais dit nam
sinon je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir une swap parce que pendant l'installation j'avais pris l'installation par défaut t non la manuelle donc je n'ai pas créer une partition swap.
Sinon depuis que j'utilise noscript il est mins bruyant même sans remettre le fichier tlp comme il était.
Maintenant les seules fois où il s'enclenche le ventilo c'est quand je mets une vidéo youtube, ou quand je lis une vidéo de mon ordi, aussi bien avec vlc qu'avec parole, en plein écran.
