Pas d'accès au bureau de ubuntu
Bonjour la communauté ubuntu!
J'ai voulu recyclé mon vieux pc portable MSI qui tournait sur VISTA (sur lequel il y avait beaucoup de problèmes en tout genre) en le passant sous linus.
J'ai donc installer ubuntu 14.04 LTS en formatant tout le reste.
Le problème c'est que quand je rentre mon login et mon mot de passe sur l'écran d’accueil, ça me renvoie à ce même écran d'accueil et ce en boucle.
J'ai consulté ces 2 pages : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/xfce partie 7.4 et https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/probleme_session_ubuntu mais ça n'a pas résolu mon problème.
De plus lorsque je rentre dans la commande [mv .config/xfce-session .config/xfce-session.vieux], [cat /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log] ou encore [sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf] la console m'affiche que le fichier recherché n'existe pas.
J'ai scruté également les forums mais honnêtement je comprends pas du tout les explications et tout ce que je sais faire sous linux c'est ouvrir la console et rentrer les lignes de codes du fait que je n'ai pas accès au bureau.
Pourriez-vous me donner quelques pistes de réflexion (pas trop techniques) sur ce problème?
NB: Lors de l'installation, je n'ai pas pu me connecter à internet je n'ai donc pas pu faire de mises à jour

C'est vraiment ballot. Connecte-toi en filaire à internet et fais un essai en session live en démarrant ton ordi sur un support live (LiveUSB ou LiveDVD) de Ubuntu, puis en sélectionnant "Essayer Ubuntu". Arrivé sur le bureau de Ubuntu - en session live - vérifie que tu as accès à internet (lance Firefox et fais un tour sur internet pour t'en assurer) et fais un Boot-Info. Donne l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse à ce message.
Motif de cette demande : examiner ton installation pour voir si elle semble correcte, savoir quelle version de Ubuntu tu as installée sur ton disque dur.

Merci de répondre si vite!
Je n'ai qu'une connexion wifi public là où je suis. J'ai déjà essayé ubuntu et même résultat je ne peux pas accéder au bureau.
J'ai néanmoins réussi à faire la procédure Boot-Repair-Disk que tu m'as donné en lien. Ainsi j'ai pu avoir accès à une sorte de bureau où j'ai pu me connecter en wifi.

Ton installation semble parfaite. C'est Ubuntu 14.04.3 32 bits qui est installée. On peut le savoir parce que tes noyaux sont de la famille 3.19.0-x et la doc LTS Enablement Stack permet de savoir que c'est la version 14.04.3 qui vient avec cette famille de noyaux.
Je n'ai pas d'idée à te proposer pour tenter de résoudre ton problème. Si tu dois tenter une réinstallation, je te suggère d'installer Xubuntu 14.04 32 bits plutôt que Ubuntu 14.04 32 bits parce que ton ordi doit commencer à être âgé et je pense qu'il serait plus à l'aise avec Xubuntu
