[Résolu]Multiboot perdu

Bonjour,
C’est un problème de boot (et même de multiboot) qui me conduit vers ce forum. Le PC sur lequel il se produit est un hybride (carte-mère Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 ; RAM DDR3 Kingston 8 Go ; 6x AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor ; carte graphique NVIDIA GF119 GeForce GT 610), architecture x64, équipé de 3 DD :
1 MAXTOR 80 Go (sda), sur lequel est installé un OS Kubuntu 14.04 (MBR)
1 TOSHIBA 3 To (sdb), sur lequel est installé un OS Kubuntu 16.04 (GPT)
1 SEAGATE 500 Go (sdc), sur lequel est installé un OS Windows 10 Pro
À la suite de différentes manœuvres, j’ai perdu le boot de tous les systèmes. J’ai voulu d’abord récupérer celui de Windows (simplement parce qu’ordinairement, les autres sont plus faciles à reconstituer, et en cas de malheur, les OS Linux sont plus rapides à réinstaller), à l’aide des outils Microsoft, mais sans succès. J’ai donc voulu récupérer une image système sauvegardée récemment (avril dernier), en pensant que cela me permettrait de retrouver le boot de Windows, mais la restauration ayant été effectuée « avec succès », je ne pouvais toujours pas lancer l’OS.
Avec un CD de boot manuel, j’ai pu lancer, en mode sans défaut, l’OS Kubuntu 16.04 sur sdb (le TOSHIBA de 3 To en GPT), et j’ai alors lancé le Boot-Repair, dont le rapport se trouve ici :

En outre, à la fin de la réparation, ce programme affichait le message suivant :

Si vous avez toujours des problèmes de démarrage, indiquez cette URL à  :

Vous pouvez maintenant redémarrer votre ordinateur.
N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sdb (3001GB) !

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Après cela, et sans autre intervention de ma part (je pense à celle qui est suggérée ci-dessus), les deux OS Kubuntu sont de nouveau bootables, mais le 16.04 présente certains dysfonctionnements, peut-être liés à la migration récente de la version 15.10 à la version 16.04. Du reste, pendant le lancement, les deux derniers petits points à droite, qui soulignent "KUBUNTU xx.xx", sont remplacés par: "!! ¤", ce qui signifie nécessairement quelque chose. Toutefois, ces petite ennuis n’entrent pas dans le cadre du problème que je voudrais résoudre ici.

Reste à savoir maintenant comment procéder au mieux pour récupérer Windows. J’avoue que je suis un peu perdu dans ma cuisine de multiboot, bien que je m’en serve sans trop de difficultés depuis plus d’un an, en redoutant cependant chaque occasion de détruire cette fragile construction. Aussi, j’aimerais bénéficier d’un conseil éclairé à ce stade, avant de me relancer dans l’utilisation plus ou moins hasardeuse des différents outils que l’on peut trouver (UBCD, SystemRescuecd & consorts).

Tu as placé cette question dans la section « Wubi : installation dans Windows ». Je doute fort que tes installations de Kubuntu aient été faites avec Wubi, donc je déplace la question dans « Installation d'Ubuntu ».

As-tu tout simplement essayé de lancer cette commande sur un de tes OS Linux bootable :

sudo update-grub

Le démarrage de l'ordinateur a été correctement réparé.

Vous pouvez maintenant redémarrer votre ordinateur.
N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sdb (3001GB) !

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

C'est très dur à déchiffrer ce Boot-Info. Il faudrait que tous les systèmes d'exploitation soient installés dans le même mode : soit le mode EFI, soit le mode non-EFI (mode Bios classique) comme expliqué dans mon tuto : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=986671
Alors que là, c'est le merdier :
- Kubuntu 16.04 est installé en mode non-EFI. On le sait parce qu'il n'y a pas de ligne pour le montage d'une partition EFI dans le fstab de sdb4 :

- Kubuntu 14.04 est installé en mode EFI. On le sait parce qu'il y a une ligne pour le montage de la partition sda1 dans /boot/efi dans la partie "kubuntu-vg-root/etc/fstab" du Boot-Info :

- Windows 10 est installé en mode non-EFI : il n'y a aucun chargeur d'amorcage (fichier .efi) de Windows donc il est forcément installé en mode non-EFI. 

Je ne suis pas étonné que tu te sentes un peu perdu dans ta cuisine de multiboot. Si tu pouvais abandonner ton Kubuntu 14.04 - qui est installé en mode EFI - pour le réinstaller à neuf en mode non-EFI (*), tu pourrais avoir les trois systèmes installés en mode non-EFI (mode Bios classique) et tu pourrais commencer à maîtriser ton multi-boot.

EDIT : j'oubliais de te recommander de ne plus utiliser Boot-repair : cet outil peut rendre service à un novice (c'est la bombe anti-crevaison, ça dépanne) mais quand on a un multiboot, il vaut mieux éviter d'utiliser Boot-repair. Sa "réparation standard", c'est une catastrophe dans un multiboot. Il faudrait savoir l'utiliser en "utilisation avancée", mais plutôt que de clicouiller dans des cases en croisant les doigts de pied pour que ça se passe bien, il vaut mieux apprendre à se dépanner sans Boot-repair quand on a un multiboot sur plusieurs disques comme c'est ton cas.

(*) ou même carrément virer ce Kubuntu 14.04 puisque tu as déjà un Kubuntu d'installé, de version la plus récente (16.04).

Pour répondre à Li@nel: oui, naturellement, j'avais "updaté" le grub.
Malbo a mis le doigt sur le problème de fond que je soupçonnais bien, ayant éprouvé des difficultés au moment d'installer mes OS après avoir ajouté le disque dur le plus récent, à savoir le Toshiba de 3To (sdb). Le recours à EFI vient de là, puisque j'avais besoin de ce mode pour utiliser la capacité de ce disque. Quant à l'utilisation des 3 systèmes, tu as raison: en réalité, il ne s'agit que d'une survivance d'un passé assez récent (18 mois à pau près), lorsque j'étais passé à Windows 10 avant sa sortie définitive (en "insider"), et que j'avais voulu conserver un Windows 7 Ultimate qui avait fait ses preuves, pour plus de sûreté ; j'avais alors ces deux OS Microsoft, et le Kubuntu 14.04 en troisième. Maintenant que le W10 est stable, je n'ai évidemment plus besoin du W7, mais par curiosité, j'avais alors imaginé remplacer ce dernier par un OS Ubuntu que je ferais évoluer tous les 6 mois, sans attendre la prochaine LTS, en gardant l'autre Ubuntu en secours dans la dernière version LTS. J'avais trouvé cela une construction plaisante, mais en réalité, elle est biscornue et peu pratique. La voix de la raison m'incite donc à suivre ton conseil et à ne conserver que 2 OS, un MS et un Linux, ce sera bien suffisant.
Cependant, une question: quid du disque de 3 To si je n'ai rien en EFI?

Il y a un malentendu avec ça : pour exploiter la capacité d'un disque de 3 To, il est conseillé d'adopter le type de table de partition GPT que tu as adopté, la raison étant que ce type de table permet de gérer des partitions de taille supérieure à 2.2 To (c'est précisé dans la doc). Oui mais GPT n'implique absolument pas d'installer en mode EFI. Tu peux installer en mode non-EFI dans un disque GPT sans souci. La seule chose qui peut imposer d'installer en mode EFI, c'est qu'un OS soit préinstallé en mode EFI dans l'ordi : dans ce cas, conformément à mon tuto, il convient d'installer tous les autres OS dans le même mode. Dans ton cas, comme Windows est installé en mode non-EFI, il convient d'installer les deux autres dans le mode non-EFI. Ou alors, tu fais la révolution et tu réinstalles les trois en mode EFI.

EDIT : autant pour moi, je viens de t'expliquer que tu pouvais installer un OS dans le disque de 3 To mais je n'avais pas bien noté que tu souhaitais utiliser ce disque 3 To uniquement pour du stockage. Il n'y a aucun souci avec ça : tu peux laisser ce disque avec une table de partition GPT, il sera parfaitement géré par Windows et par Ubuntu.

Merci pour ces précisions essentielles: j'ignorais cette distinction et croyais le mode EFI impératif à partir du moment où un disque était en GPT. Avec des notions aussi floues, je m'étonne d'avoir pu faire fonctionner ce multiboot du diable pendant aussi longtemps: sans doute la chance!

Maintenant, il me faut donc d'abord récupérer l'usage du Windows 10 (l'OS dont la réinstallation m'ennuierait le plus), puis je supprimerai le Kubuntu 14.04 et le remplacerai par le 16.04, en mode non-EFI, sur le petit disque Maxtor de 80 Go (sda), en gardant le gros Toshiba (sdb) pour le stockage.

Je vous tiens au courant, car l'affaire n'est pas gagnée d'avance. En attendant, je vous souhaite un bon week-end.

Après une interruption consécutive à une intervention chirurgicale qui m'a rendu invalide quelques jours, je reprends le fil de la discussion pour y mettre le point final, et remercier comme il se doit Malbo qui avait pointé l'anomalie à l'origine du problème: à savoir l'OS du disque MAXTOR de 80 Go (sda) installé en mode EFI, alors que les deux autres OS étaient en mode Legacy.
J'ai seulement inversé l'ordre des opérations que je me proposais de faire, c'est-à-dire que j'ai installé sur ce disque, en mode NON-EFI cette fois, Kubuntu 16.04 à la place du 14.04 qui s'y trouvait....et je n'ai pas eu besoin d'autre chose pour retrouver immédiatement mon multiboot avec les deux autres OS. Simplissime évidemment...a posteriori!
