Fausse manip sur : apt-get install

Bonjour,

Voilà ça devait arriver ;(
J'ai suivi les indications affichés dans mon terminal lorsque l'installation d'un packet n'a pas fonctionné.

Et j'ai tapé :

apt-get -f install

Je ne vais pas lister tous les problèmes que j'ai depuis le reboot lol.
Mais j'aimerai en résoudre un qui me bloque beaucoup de chose pour le moment.

Il ne semble plus y avoir de language local... :

Waoulala ! C'est quoi cette install avec du opensuse et du debian ?
...tu as aussi des PPA obsolètes (et un truc en "testing" ça ne doit pas aider à la stabilité, çà...)
Donne :

cat /var/log/installer/media-info

Si ça répond « none », essaye

cat /var/log/installer/lsb-release

ainsi que

echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP

Et enfin :

Opensuse, ça peut arriver : c'est là qu'on trouve par exemple smtube, un navigateur youtube très pratique et couplé à smplayer.

En revanche, même avec une installation Debian, le dépôt "experimental" n'est recommandé qu'à des utilisateurs (très ?) avertis... Alors l'intégrer à ubuntu sans autre forme de procès, en y adjoignant le dépôt "sid", tant qu'à faire, c'est la candidature ferme à une rapide ré-installation...

Bon Ok mais comment procéder ?

Parce que j'ai des tas et des tas de chose dessus.

Comme deux disques de stockage en RAID1 ou je ne veux rien perdre dessus.
Des tas de serveur de jeux et hebergement web. En autre..

Tout fonctionnait très bien et très stable jusqu’à présent, malgré des installations médiocre.
C'est juste le "apt-get -f install" qui a tout foiré.

Et en l'occurrence le Language local qui n'est plus là. Car sans lui impossible de démarrer mes serveurs de jeux par exemple.

Je pense remettre au propre dans un future proche. Mais là je n'ai pas le temps de tout refaire

Bon, il faut nettoyer ça en espérant que ca n'a pas installé des trucs instables.

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Si ça ne veut pas, passe

sudo mousepad /etc/apt/sources.list

mais c'est moins bien.

Dans le fichier qui s'ouvre, remplace tout par :

Ferme en enregistrant.

Côté PPA ils m'ont l'air en majorité problématiques ou obsolètes (sauf peut être owncloud), on va tous les virer pour éventuellement réinstaller les indispensables :

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Puis

sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
sudo apt-get autoremove

Voilà c'est fait !

Toujours l'erreur de language dans les log de ces commandes par contre

Par contre plus d'erreur dans le apt-get update. C'est propre

Retourne dans paramètres et regarde la mise à jour des langues dans un premier temps

Par ailleurs (mais rien à voir avec les langues) il va falloir réinstaller les PPA qui te sont utiles là dedans (si ils existent encore : n'ai pas tout vérifié) :

Pour ton password, vu le souci, ton clavier est peut-être passé en qwerty.
tiens en compte pour voir si tu ouvres bien ta session

C'est ce que j'ai pensé.
du coup dans le doute j'ai tapé mon password dans le nom de l'user pour voir ce que je tape.
Mais non tout est bon..

Mais il ne me dit pas "password incorrecte" J'ai testé un faux password.
Il enlève la fenêtre de session comme si le password était correct.
Puis le bureau ne s'ouvre pas; la fenêtre d’ouverture de session revient à la place.

Quand tu es sur ta demande de mot de passe, fais ctrl-alt-F1 ou F2 ou 3 ou 4.. pour accéder au terminal puis passe les commandes du #15

Oui, là, je pense qu'une clean install sera le chemin le plus court (45 mn environ) https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/reinstallation_ubuntu
