(Résolu) Partitionnement manuel pour un hp sous W10

Salut à tous,

Une amie me demande de partitionner son hp pour installer Ubuntu en dualboot, mais
avant de faire des conn ... j' ai besoin de votre aide.
La config du DD:

System 100Mo NTFS / OS (C:) Windows 10 avec 910,62 Go NTFS / 450 Mo (partition de récup) / HP recovery "(D:) 20,35 NTFS

Son PC est sous Windows 10 et je souhaiterai lui conserver la partition "recovery", on ne sait jamais ..?
Le PC est pour son fils, qui joue avec " Overwatch, Hearthstone, Minecraft ..."

Bonjour,
Je te propose de réaliser un support live (LiveUSB ou LiveDVD) de Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits et de démarrer l'ordi dessus en session live (essayer Ubuntu sans l'installer). Depuis cette session live, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
Pour la suite, je te proposerai de t'appuyer sur le Tuto "efi un jeu d'enfant" du site "Libre à Quimperlé"

Je viens de lire le rapport du boot-info et je dois préciser que ce PC était à l' origine sous seven et
qu' il a été upgradé vers W10.

T'as fait ton boot-info en mode EFI tandis que ton Windows est installé en Legacy. Il vaudrait mieux que tu boot ton CD/clefs en mode Legacy et refaire un boot-info pour voir si os-prober détecte Windows, ce qui n'est pas le cas.

Vires sans hésiter la partition SDA4   qui te permettrait très éventuellement  de restorer windows7.   Si le disque fonctionne , Si la partition est encore présente, et si le logiciel HP est au point.
Comme tu utilises  windows10, il est maintenant beaucoup plus simple de récupérer chez microsoft le logiciel d'installation de windows10 et de faire une installation neuve.
plutôt que de s'évertuer à mettre cette partition dans 4 DVDS et de remettre en état windows7 et de perdre ubuntu lors de la mise à jour vers windows10!
Tu auras immédiatement 21 Go de disponible pour installer ubuntu.   Cela  te permettra de faire une installation avec "à coté de ...' au lieu de 'autre choses...'
et tu pourras mettre le C: comme partition de stockage des données.     Mais, ce n'est pas normal que tu n'ait pas pensé à déjà faire une partition D: sous windows pour isoler tes données de l'OS windows...

J' n' ai rien formaté, j' ai récupéré le PC dans cet état.

C' est justement ce que je pensais faire mais dans le doute ..?
Je n' utilise plus ou rarement Windows, sinon au boulot ...

La question que je me pose c' est : dois-je utiliser une version EFI d' ubuntu ?
J' ai constaté que dans le bios, le PC boot justement sur l' option EFI pour windows.

J' utilise la 16.04 en amd64 et la distro est en anglais. Tu fais comment avec un liveDVD ?
Faut-il que je fasse une autre modif dans le bios ?

Ce n'est pas le DVD qui pose problème, C'est le bios qui est positionné en EFI.

dans un tel contexte, le dual boot ne peut pas fonctionner.   Il faut aller dans le bios pour changer cette façon de booter      pour mettre prioritaire   le non EFI en support externe.

Par rapport à ta question sur la réinstallation de Windows 10, il existe de nombreux tutos et articles mais je te propose déjà celui-là : http://answers.microsoft.com/fr-fr/wind … dfe?auth=1
Si je dis une connerie, je serai repris sans vergogne mais le principe est le suivant : quand tu as fait la mise à niveau gratuite, les serveurs de Microsoft ont enregistré certaines caractéristiques essentielles de ton ordi qui permettent de l'identifier formellement comme étant un ordi équipé d'un Windows 10 "légal". A partir de là, si demain ton Windows 10 ne fonctionne plus, tu peux installer un Windows 10 tout neuf sans avoir à rentrer la clé de produit et il sera activé sans que tu aies rien à faire. Ce petit miracle, c'est parce que la configuration de ton ordi est reconnue par les serveurs de Microsoft.

Si après cela, tu dois changer un éléments significatif de ton ordi (genre carte-mère), la réponse se trouve dans ce même lien que j'ai donné. Moi je comprends que tu dois racheter une licence Windows 10.

Je viens de faire un autre boot-info avec le lecteur intégré au PC.
J' avais fait mes premiers boot-infos avec un lecteur USB.
Je ne sais pas si c' la à changé quelque chose ?

Tu es toujours en mode EFI comme indiqué dans cet extrait du Boot-Info ("is setup in EFI-mode for this live-session") :

Il y a des indications dans le post suivant qui pourraient t'aider à démarrer en mode non-EFI sur ton support Live (LiveUSB ou LiveDVD) : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … #p18984151

EDIT : ça pourrait être utile que tu donnes le nom COMPLET du modèle de ton ordi. Par complet, je veux dire par exemple "HP Pavilion 500-419" et pas seulement le début du nom "HP Pavilion 500" : le but étant d'identifier le plus précisément possible un modèle et non pas une famille de modèles.

Minute :

post 1 tu fais ce dual-boot pour une amie et post 7 tu parles de toi vis-à-vis de ton usage de Windows.

Ce n'est donc pas la même chose : demande à ton amie ce qu'elle compte faire avec W et si elle préfererait avoir moyen de le restaurer ou bien elle s'en fout.

Car là, tu te prêtes à lui refiler un dual-boot avec windows sans filet (pour autant que cela fonctionne comme disait Bougron).

Bref, c'est pas là une question technique, mais relationnelle, sinon contractuelle puisque tu rends un service.

Salut lucmars,

Pourquoi tant de suspicion ?
Le petit monstre avait téléchargé des tas de cochonneries que j' ai nettoyé.

Ses parents sont des utilisateurs lambda pour qui l' informatruc est synonyme de services ou de jeux et c' est tout !
Ils n' ont aucune conscience des répercutions suite à un mauvais usage des donnés perso par un tier ...

Cette installation est pour moi un moyen pour les sensibiliser, voir les convertir aux libres.

L' installation s' est déroulée impec (merci à tous ...), mais côté interface, j' ai opté pour XFCE.
J' ai tenté de configurer le launcher d' unity horizontalement, mais c' est la que les ennuis ont commencés,
d' ou cette réponse tardive.
Maintenant, je cherche à installer différents jeux compatible avec la config du PC.

Ordinateur de bureau HP TouchSmart 520-1120ef
Processeur Intel Pentium G630 (2,7 Ghz)
Mémoire cache 3 Mo
Carte Mère: Intel H61 Express
Disque dur SATA 1 To 3 Gb/s (7 200 tr/min)

4GO de ram
