[RESOLU] Pilotes brother MFC-7440N

Bonjour,
Un peu d'aide sera la bienvenue... je sèche sur l'installation des pilotes.
J'ai un multifonction Brother MFC-7440N... je l'avais précédemment installé, configuré les pilotes et tout, sans grand problème, sur ma précédente version et là je suis passé à la dernière LTS.
Je vais sur le site Brother, je charge les pilotes dpkg 64, je les ai installé en suivant les procédures... l'imprimante marche, mais le scanner est indétectable... j'ai testé en admin, pareil, j'ai testé sur le logiciel Xsane (celui que j'aime bien et que j'utilise avant) ainsi que sur Simple Scan, rien...
Je commence à suer... ;-)

J'ai bien tout suivi ici :

L'imprimante est bien reconnue, mais le scanner non.........
Je me demande si c'est pas un souci de gestion du 64 bits ?

Bon j'ai trouvé la soluce, il faut créer un scanner manuellement et éditer un fichier comme indiqué ici :
