Pas de choix entre Linux et Winows (dual boot)

Bonjour,

Suite à une mise à jour de Windows, je ne peux plus choisir entre Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) et Windows (8.1) au démarrage de l'ordinateur. L'ordi lance directement Windows. Apparemment il faut réinstaller le Grub mais je n'y arrive pas. Je n'ai pas réussi à installer Boot-repair sur la session d'essai Ubuntu (13 je crois) avec le CD, déjà que le paquet n'était pas trouvé et que je ne peux pas installer Synaptic non plus.

Salut il te faut installer "boot-repair"
Tu as du être mal orienté durant l'installation pour ne pas réussir.

Re-tente ta chance et n'abandonne pas car ce programme peut littéralement sauver ton ordinateur.

Suit le point: 1.2 et tout devrait bien ce passer.

Merci de votre reponse.

Après ''sudo apt-get install boot-repair'' le terminal me dit '' Unable to locate package boot-repair''. Et si je clic sur le lien et aue je lance la logitech (Ubuntu Softzare center), elle me dit ''Not found There isn’t a software package called “boot-repair” in your current software sources.''

Je sais pas comment je vais pouvoir installer boot-repair. Je suis perdu.

C'est normale, la commande "sudo apt-get install ..." n'est pas une commande miracle smile elle te permet d'installer n'importe quel logiciel CONNUE par Ubuntu, donc des logiciel que Ubuntu propose.
boot-Repair ne fait pas partie de la liste, c'est pour ca que tu dois suivre les instruction qui sont dans le lien que je t'ai donné à la section numéro 1.2 :

1) tu ajoute boot-repair à la liste des logiciel connue par ton ordinateur

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair

2) ensuite tu met à jour la liste des logiciels

sudo apt-get update

3) Ensuite maintenant que ton ordinateur connais le logiciel Boot-repair, qu'il sait ou aller le chercher, tu peux alors l'installer

sudo apt-get install boot-repair

Cette version 13.04 : raring est périmée !

Fin de vie depuis le 27 janvier 2014
Depuis le 27 janvier 2014, Ubuntu 13.04 est en fin de vie. Elle ne profite plus de nouvelle mise à jour de sécurité et les paquets logiciels pour cette version sont déplacés dans des serveurs d'archive. Pour continuer à recevoir des mises à jour de sécurité, veuillez mettre à niveau votre version d'Ubuntu vers une version activement soutenue.

La version 13.04 d'Ubuntu n'est plus supportée.

Essaie avec une version plus récente.

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 64 bits + Windows 11 64 bits en dualboot (BIOS UEFI, Secure Boot activé et table de partitions GPT)
PC portable HP 17-CP0308NF   Processeur: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U avec carte graphique AMD Lucienne intégrée au processeur.   Mémoire vive: 16 Go RAM
Quand vous ne trouvez pas la solution à un problème, cherchez des pistes menant à la solution !

Mais non.
Les PPA Boot-repair ne sont supportés que pour les versions 12.04, 14.04, et 16.04 de Ubuntu et ses variantes.
Donc la 16.04.1  indiquée par Bougron en fait partie.

Tu peux utiliser Windows comme il te l'indique pour faire une clé live usb avec l'iso Ubuntu 16.04.1 .
Tu pourras installer Boot-Repair/Boot-Info en session live Ubuntu 16.04.1, et faire un boot info.

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!...  Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Cette version est aussi périmée.
Dans l'ensemble,  7 versions sur 8 sont périmées au bout de 9 mois et 1 version franchi  le cap des 3 ans qui est maintenant porté à 5 ans pour certaines. Avec la 16.04.1 tu sera tranquille pour 5 ans
Il faudra probablement que tu songes à l'essayer et si elle marche, tu pourras l'installer. Il y a des solutions pour ne pas perdre tes données.

C'est bon ! Avec une USB live ubuntu 16.04.1 j'ai installé boot-repair avec les commandes et après un reboot, plus de problème.
