Problème de boot suite à l'installation d'Ubuntu
Bonjour,
Suite à un changement de carte mère (MSI A68HM-E33 V2) et de processeur (désormais un AMD), j'ai réinstallé Ubuntu sur mon vieux PC, équipé d'un disque dur SSD.
Il ne m'a pas été possible de le faire depuis une clef USB que j'avais précédemment utilisée. J'ai l'impression qu'il y a quelque chose qui pose problème au niveau du BIOS de la carte mère.
J'ai quand même réussi à contourner ce problème en réalisant une installation via Internet (cf. https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/inst … _internet).
Malheureusement, impossible de booter directement sur Ubuntu : j'obtiens brièvement un écran pourpre, et l'ordinateur reboote.
La seule solution de contournement que j'ai trouvée, c'est de passer par le menu de GRUB et de choisir "Advanced options", puis "Recovery mode", puis "Resume". Là, ça marche nickel.
Je viens d'essayer le programme "réparateur de démarrage", mais cela n'a pas résolu mon problème.

Ce programme m'a donné un indice toutefois :
"Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)"
Est-ce que vous pensez que la création d'une partition /boot résoudrait le problème ?
Ou est-ce qu'un changement de paramétrage du BIOS pourrait m'éviter de faire cette manip ?

Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. etc...", c'est une grosse farce imaginée par le concepteur du "réparateur de démarrage". Moi ça ne me fait plus rire. En tout cas, cela ne te concerne pas.
En fait, ton souci ne se voit pas dans ce Boot-Info, très certainement parce que ton souci est dû à la gestion de l'affichage. Dans la partie "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION" du Boot-Info, on peut voir l'extrait suivant (avec l'option nomodeset en fin de ligne):

qui confirme tes dires à savoir que tu as fait ce Boot-Info depuis une session de Ubuntu démarrée en mode de dépannage (choix "Ubuntu, with Linux 4.4.0-31-generic (recovery mode)" dans le menu Grub. Pour moi, le fait que tu sois obligé de passer par l'option nomodeset, cela veut dire que tu as un problème graphique et pas un problème de boot. Aussi je t'invite à chercher de l'aide dans la rubrique du forum qui est adaptée à ton problème : "Affichage et cartes graphiques". Tu peux demander le déplacement de la présente discussion dans cette rubrique si tu le souhaites (signaler aux modérateurs)
EDIT : ce serait utile que tu indiques la référence de ton processeur AMD (la partie graphique qui apparaît dans le Boot-Info est "Radeon HD 7480D". Et j'ai vu sur la toile que c'est la partie graphique de certains processeurs AMD)

J'ai fait un tour sur le forum "Affichage et cartes graphiques", mais je me suis vite noyé...
Comment être sûr que le problème est lié à la carte graphique intégrée au processeur ?

Parce que tu n'as qu'une seule "carte graphique", tu n'en as pas d'autre. Cette "carte graphique" n'est pas une "carte" physiquement : c'est une partie de la puce de ton processeur.
EDIT : ton dernier post me laisse entendre que tu n'es pas convaincu par mon diagnostic - à savoir que ton problème est purement un problème graphique et que ce n'est pas un problème de boot - par conséquent, je te propose de laisser ouverte la présente discussion et de créer une nouvelle discussion dans la rubrique "Affichage et cartes graphiques" du forum (en n'oubliant pas d'y donner le lien vers la présente discussion afin que les aidants puissent avoir l'info la plus complète)

Le test a été concluant : avec la carte graphique Geforce, Ubuntu a booté comme un charme dès le premier essai.
Il ne me reste plus qu'à récupérer une carte graphique pour mon PC Ubuntu...

C'est quand même les boules. Ubuntu qui n'est pas foutu de gérer un processeur AMD comme le A4-4000 sorti il y a 3 ans si j'en crois cette page. Je crois bien qu'il faut en retirer qu'il faut fuir les processeurs AMD et prendre Intel si on ne veut pas avoir d'ennuis avec Ubuntu.
Je te prie de passer la discussion en "résolu" en procédant comme suit :
1) tu te connectes sur le forum ubuntu-fr
2) tu cliques sur "Modifier" qui est en bas à droite de ton PREMIER post
3) tu modifies le titre de la discussion afin qu'il devienne :
