Bonjour,
Google-earth ne fonctionne plus sous Kubuntu 16.04. pourtant il fonctionnait qques semaines avant !

Salut,
Comme je disais dans cette discussion, Google Earth fonctionne tellement mal de nos jours que je n'utilise plus que Maps qui fait exactement la même chose. Marche mieux si on utilise Chromium.
Avec Firefox ça rame plus sur mon Eeepc.
Mais bon, c'est la solution.

Ca fait quand même moins de chose. Je l'ai sur mon gros PC où il y a KDE.
Mais avec Ubuntu faudrait installer pas mal de dépendances.

En plus je vous conseille de démarrer Google Earth avec cette commande :
LC_ALL=C google-earthHistoire que si vous recherchez un lieu que le programme se dirige vers ce lieu.
Sinon ça nous emmène n'importe où.

Au fait Django84, pour que Google Earth fonctionne il te faut installer ça: Bibliothèques LSB 4.0
Et il ne faut installer que la version 32 bits.
La 64 bits déconne.
Edit : on dirait qu'ils ont changé de version? En plus je constate des défauts d'affichage sur cette version. Faut que je vérifie sur mon PC de bureau pour voir.

Ah si c'est la version 15.29 aussi que j'ai sur mon gros PC.
J'ai l'impression qu'ils ont laissé tomber Google Earth pour Linux chez Google.

Oui J'avais bien installé Lsb et la version 64bits je tente une dernière fois la version 32 bits, et puis je laisse tomber cette daube.
Marble est très différent de G-E.

Marble est très différent de G-E.
Ben oui.
Sur ce programme j'ai installé toutes les cartes et même toutes les planètes (Mars, la lune, etc...)
Il y a OpenStreetMap là dessus qui est pas mal!
En vue satellite les nuages sont en temps réel! Pas mal aussi ça.
Mais bon, on n'a pas StreetView et tout le reste. Les moyens pour réaliser ce programme sont différents.
Mais c'est pas mal quand même.

Incroyable quand même que ça ne marche pas chez toi.
Puis je ne vois pas pourquoi.
Mais comme je te disais, le couple Chromium/Maps est tellement réactif et confortable d'utilisation que je me demande encore pourquoi j'utilise Google-Erath!
Ca fait la même chose vu que la plupart des options de GE, on ne s'en sert pas.
Et les bâtiments en 3D ça sert à rien. D'ailleurs avec Maps on voit les bâtiments en 3D même si c'est différent.
Du coup prends ça tu verras c'est pas mal.

Au fait, as-tu essayé de faire un itinéraire avec OpenStreetMap via Marble?
Pas mal je trouve.
Et un double-clique sur une phrase de l'itinéraire nous montre où on se trouve sur la carte. Je trouve qu'il y a eu du travail de fait là dessus.

Je relance cette discussion car on est passé à la version 7.1.7.2600 de Google Earth. Et elle fonctionne sous Linux comme dit dans cette discussion.
Ceci dit sur mon Eeepc marqué en signature, toujours pas d'image. Carré blanc à la place.
Mais elle fonctionne cette version là.
