mise à jour et "connexion internet"

Bonjour et meilleurs voeux !

Je ne peux pas mettre à jour ce qui semble conseillé ; j'obtiens toujours le message "vérifiez votre connexion internet", or elle fonctionne bien.
Ci dessous le détail ... mais pour moi c'est de l'hébreu.
Pouvez-vous m'aider ?

C'est illisible : mets à jour ton message pour mettre le retour entre balises code (bouton "<>" dans la barre d'outils). Si c'est un gros bloc de messages d'erreurs non mis en forme que tu obtiens via le gestionnaire de mise à jour, lance un sudo apt-get update dans un terminal, il sera un peu plus lisible.

Néanmoins, on peut voir qu'il y a des problèmes de sources dupliquées et de dépôts qui n'existent apparemment plus, donc commence par donner le retour de :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d

(Entre balises code aussi.)

Pour commencer, tu vas modifier ton sources.list pour virer les dépôts en double et celui qui est obsolète depuis dix ans. Ouvre-le avec les droits admin :

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

et remplace son contenu par ça :

(C'est le même contenu mais en supprimant les dix dernières lignes.)

Ensuite, donne le contenu des dépôts tiers :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mc3man-ubuntu-nauty-open-xenial.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/xenial-partner.list

Enfin, dans les dépôts que je t'ai fait enlever de ton sources.list, il y en a un qui vient de chez Epson. Comme à la base il est pour Debian, est-ce que tu pourrais me dire à quoi il sert et où tu l'as trouvé ? C'est un pilote pour une imprimante ?
C'est pour vérifier s'il est bien valide pour Ubuntu, auquel cas on le remettra dans un fichier .list à part, ce sera plus propre.

donc j'ai fait je crois ce que Abelthorne m'indique.

J'obtiens un rapport de plantage "Software updater a quitté de façon inattendue" que je ne peux pas copier coller, je recopie à la main (clavier !) une partie des détails :

update-manager crashed with SystemError in open ():E:Le type "cat" est inconnu su la ligne 47 dans la liste des sources/etc/apt/sources.list, E:La liste des sources ne peut être lue.

J'ai besoin du driver pour l'imprimante Epson XP-435. J'ai trouvé sur le site Epson de quoi la faire fonctionner. Cela marche avec le câble, pas par la wi-fi, mais je peux m'en passer.

Qu'est-ce que tu as fait exactement ? La commande cat que j'ai donnée est à taper dans le terminal, pas du tout à rajouter dans le fichier sources.list. Si c'est ce que tu as fait, édite à nouveau le fichier pour supprimer la ligne.

J'ai trouvé sur le site Epson de quoi la faire fonctionner.

Mais est-ce que tu aurais le lien vers la page sur le site Epson qui donne les instructions pour ce dépôt ?

OK j'ai corrigé la ligne collée dans la mauvaise fenêtre.

Je ne suis plus trop sûre pour l'imprimante, cela fait un moment que je l'ai fait.

J'attends toujours le retour de cette commande :

Pour l'imprimante, est-ce que tu te souviens si tu as ajouté le dépôt toi-même ou si tu as juste installé des paquets deb (qui auraient ensuite ajouté le dépôt) ?

Pour les balises, il faut sélectionner le bout de texte concerné et cliquer sur le bouton qui représente des chevrons dans l'interface. Ou rajouter les balises code manuellement :

Le dépôt "nauty-open" que tu utilises n'existe plus pour ta version d'Ubuntu ; la dernière supportée est Vivid (15.04). Comme ça touche à Nautilus, qui est le gestionnaire de fichiers du bureau et dont dépendent d'autres paquets, je pense que ce serait une meilleure idée de le supprimer que d'essayer d'utiliser la vieille version sur ton Ubuntu actuelle. Pour ce qui est du dépôt partner, je ne comprends pas bien ce qu'il fout là, sa place est dans le sources.list principal (où il est déjà). Bref, tu vas supprimer ces dépôts tiers :

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mc3man-ubuntu-nauty-open-xenial.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mc3man-ubuntu-nauty-open-xenial.list.save /etc/apt/sources.list.d/xenial-partner.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/xenial-partner.list.save

Pour ton imprimante, on va supposer que le dépôt est ok, donc on va le remettre dans son propre fichier .list :

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/epson.list

Dans l'éditeur, tu colles ça et tu enregistres :

deb http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/op/stable/debian/ lsb3.2 main
# deb-src http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/op/stable/debian/ lsb3.2 main

Une fois que tout ça est fait, recharge les sources et donne le retour :

Ok, il reste deux problèmes mineurs :

1) le dépôt Epson utilise une clé d'authentification faible mais c'est quelque chose qui doit être corrigé par le mainteneur du dépôt, tu ne peux rien y faire (je le précise juste pour dire que tu auras toujours ce message à propos d'une clé SHA1 faible)

2) le message "Appstream cache update completed..." qui vient d'un bug dans un paquet corrigé dans les backports. Tu peux essayer la solution donnée ici, à savoir :

sudo apt install appstream/xenial-backports

Ensuite tu vérifies que tu es bien en 0.10.1 avec la commande suivante :

appstreamcli --version

Si c'est bon, tu peux rafraîchir les données en cache pour te débarrasser du message d'avertissement :

sudo appstreamcli refresh --force
