Bonjour;
Je viens d'installer xubuntu 16.04 dans mon nouvelle ordinateur 64 bits, 4 giga de ram
Il met 3 minutes à démarrer, je l'ai d'optimisé comme préconiser dans la doc ubuntu  mais ça ne va pas plus vite. Il y a très peu d'application au démarrage (et ça ne change pas grand chose).

J'ai diminué le boot à 3'. Peut être que le boot (ou grub !) n'est pas sur le bon DD?
J'ai l'intuition que ça viens du bios qui prend son temps (j'ai mis booter sur DD en 1er mais aillant 3 DD aussi bien c'est pas le bon!)
C'est un HP Phoenix - Award BIOS CMOS.

Motif de ma demande : dans le Boot-Info, la partie "Mount points" est quasiment vide :

Effectivement, le résultat de la commande mount confirme ce qu'on pouvait voir dans le Boot-Info à savoir que ces trois lignes de ton fstab ne fonctionnent pas :

je l'ai commenté mais c'est toujours 2 ' 35 ". Je pensais que de mettre en Ram ces fichiers accèlèreraient aussi, mais ça ne change rien!

Dans le retour du post #3, je vois "GS373AA-ABF-a6112-fr". Ton ordi est donc un ordinateur de bureau HP Pavilion a6112.fr dont on peut voir les caractéristiques sur cette page. C'est à dire :

C'est pas un lapin de l'année ton nouvel ordinateur.

Oui, il a 4 giga  de ram au lieu de 2 et une autre carte graphique plus costaude. Peut être est ce normal 2'30", mais avant j'avais un dell de 2 giga de ram en 32 bits et il démarrait en 1'30"! Je ferais avec, si vous me dite que s'est normal.
Le chemin vers un de mes DD interne a changé depuis ma modification du fstab!

Bonjour

Sans vouloir interférer dans votre discussion, je voulais dire que j'ai remarqué le même souci de lenteur au démarrage.
Pendant la phase démarrage, après "Start Raise Network Interfaces", le système reste bloqué sur la ligne du dessous "Start job is running for dev-disk-by\x2duuid" pendant 1 mn 30 avec un décompteur de secondes.......c'est long !!!
Toutes les distributions démarrent de la même manière .

Dans le résultat de ton dmesg, je vois cette ligne :

Il s'agit du montage de la première partition de ton disque SAMSUNG SV0802N de 80 Go (on peut le savoir en étudiant les lignes précédentes qui vont bien) qui se produit 147 secondes après le démarrage de l'ordi. Pour qu'on puisse progresser dans cette jungle, ce serait utile que tu déconnectes physiquement tous tes disques durs à l'exception du disque dur qui contient Ubuntu : ton disque WDC WD2500JS-75N de 250 Go. Ensuite, tu referais un essai de démarrage sur ton Xubuntu installé suivi d'un nouveau dmesg afin de voir si ça s'améliore.

En effet j'aimerai aussi autant démarrer sans les 3 DD par la suite et pouvoir les monter qu' à la demande.
Normalement le boot est dans le DD de 250giga!

J'ai du mal à déchiffrer ça mais il me semble que tu as un gros souci de connexion Ethernet. Peut-être faudrait-il que tu consultes sur le forum spécialisé "Accès internet et réseaux" ?
D'autre part, on voit des mentions "vbox". Est-ce que tu confirmes que tu utilises VirtualBox ?

Oui, j'ai virtualbox
C'est temps si en effet ma connexion est alternative mais comment faire, comment l'a testé? Je ne vois pas, à quoi vois tu cela, peut est ce mon dns Opennic? Ou de free?

Peut être est ce cette carte qui est mal intégrer? J'ai essayé avec les pilotes proprio nvidia:
NVIDIA binary driver-version 340.101 depuis nvidia -340 (testé)
Il y a au démarrage sur l'écran le sigle Nvidia qui s'affiche quelques secondes et ensuite s'est idem, mais du coup le démarrage est encore plus long. Je n'ai pas essayé les pilotes propriétaire non tester car si ça plante je ne saurai pas m'en sortir!
Sinon à pars se démarrage long, tous le reste fonctionne, il me semble.

Faute de quoi, il manque à ceux qui tentent de t'aider des éléments essentiels.
