Ubuntu Gnome anormalement (?) lent au démarrage
Bonjour,
Voilà plus d'une semaine que tout mon temps libre passe dans la résolution de ce problème, je sollicite votre aide parce que je craque :')
J'ai récupéré un ordinateur portable et je voulais en profiter pour tester Ubuntu dessus.
J'ai testé plusieurs variantes d'Ubuntu, rien n'y fait...
L'ordinateur met entre 40 et 90 secondes pour booter et l'utilisation n'est pas très fluide (ex: ~10sec pour Firefox).
Au démarrage, j'ai une erreur qui s'affiche, il y a peut-être un lien mais je n'ai pas réussi à trouver lequel (Dieu sait si j'ai cliqué sur chaque résultat de mon ami google)

Re : Ubuntu Gnome anormalement (?) lent au démarrage
L'ordinateur met entre 40 et 90 secondes pour booter et l'utilisation n'est pas très fluide (ex: ~10sec pour Firefox).
J'ai les mêmes performances avec Debian et ça ne me paraît pas anormalement long (typiquement il met une grosse minute à démarrer, mais W7 prend autant de temps même si il fait semblant d'être plus rapide ; Firefox met 10 secondes au 1er lancement mais après il ne met que 3 secondes ; etc.).
Si vraiment tu redémarres très souvent pour une raison quelconque, et donc que tu veux un truc rapide, regarde du coté de Solus par exemple

Au début, je me suis dit que ça pouvait être normal et que j'étais seulement habitué à mon ordi avec ssd (qui boot en moins de 5sec).
Sauf que ! Sur un ordi qui est bien (bien) plus vieux (2002 de mémoire, avec 512mo de ram), j'ai installé Lubuntu et celui-ci démarre en même pas 10sec.
Alors qu'après avoir installé Lubuntu sur le pc mentionné dans mon post initial, il lui faut toujours entre 40 et 90sec pour boot ('_').
Je ne connaissais pas Solus, je vais essayer avec au cas où.
Si quelqu'un a une idée de test à effectuer, je suis toujours à l'écoute.

J'ai oublié de mentionner que j'ai fait un memtest avec 4 passes avec 0 erreurs.
Et aussi un s.m.a.r.t test sans anomalies (si j'ai bien interpreté le résultat car je vous avouerai avoir un petit doute).
Je peux refaire les tests si besoin ^^

ah oui le temps de boot ça dépend de l'ordi lui-même pas seulement du disque dur (sur ton ordi de 2002 je suppose qu'il n'y a pas de wifi par exemple, ça fait un très long service à démarrer en moins comparé à ton laptop)
Si vraiment les temps au démarrage sont importants pour ton usage, il y a des petits "trucs" à faire manuellement dans /etc dont jme souviens pas trop (et il vaut rester sur des bureau légers (Xfce, Budgie, LXDE, Mate, ...), là sur mon ordi j'ai l'impression qu'un tiers du temps de boot c'est "charger Gnome" )
