En ce qui concerne le mode de démarrage, vous avez raison, j'étais en mode Bios_legacy et puis maintenant en mode EFI. Je n'ai pourtant rien changé entre temps. Je vais corriger ça et je vais aussi essayer de faire démarrer la machine sur /sdb.

ok c'est bon, j'ai refait l'opération dans le terminal pour mettre grub dans /sdb puis j'ai inversé les 2 disques dans le BIOS. Je vous écrit actuellement depuis ma version d'UBUNTU fraîchement installée. wink

Me revoilà 3 ans plus tard avec toujours ce problème de Grub,
Pour rappel j'avais un dual boot Windows 7 - Ubuntu 16.04 et aujourd'hui je cherche à mettre à niveau vers Windows 10 et Ubuntu 20.04. Lorsque la mise la niveau vers Windows 10 s'est terminée il est devenu impossible de démarrer sur aucun des 2 OS. Le message d'erreur est le suivant
" no such partition
Grub rescue " .

J'ai donc ouvert une session d'essai Ubuntu a partir d' une image ISO pour pouvoir vous écrire. j'ai fait un boot repair mais le problème persiste. Voici le rapport boot Info .

Le diagnostic est simple :
Il n'y a plus de partition Linux ext.


La cause :
Tu as décrit :
"Lorsque la mise la niveau vers Windows 10 s'est terminée..."
Or sdb a une table dos :

Tu es tombé dans le piège signalé par malbo depuis cinq ans.


Le remède :
semble possible, puisque la mise à niveau de windows semble - coup de chance - avoir préservé l'espace de l'ancienne sd*6.
  Donc, avec testdisk utilisé en session live, tu devrais pouvoir restaurer l'ancienne partition 6 du disque de 120 Go / 111.8 Gio.

  Et quand ce sera fait, n'oublie plus de renuméroter tes partitions dans l'ordre (si testdisk ne l'a pas fait de lui-même) !

En #27, le disque 2To à gpt ne comptait que trois partitions :

Je suppose que la partition de 104 Go est C:
et celle de 1649 Go, D:

Mais il est absurde de voir un drapeau "bios_grub" sur une partition ntfs.
Et à partir de la réparation en #28, on n'a plus de rapport bisnext ni boot-info.
Donc plusieurs modifications ont été opérées en trois ans, sur lesquelles on manque d'informations.
Par exemple, avais-tu fabriqué une partition "BIOS boot" à drapeau "bios_grub" qui devait initialement
  - faire 1 Mio
  - et être dépourvue de système de fichiers
pour démarrer Ubuntu en legacy sur le disque gpt ?


Donc, après restauration de sd*6, d'autres manip' seront peut-être nécessaires pour démarrer Ubuntu.
Là, je ne pourrai pas t'aider. Espérons que geole et Babdu89 suivent toujours le fil.

Salut,

Le disque sda contient les traces d'un W8 probablement HS. Le disque sdb présente une mise à niveau de Windows qui a effacé ton Linux, comme l'a dit moko138. Compte tenu du changement des débuts et fins de secteurs sur ce disque, je crains que Testdisk soit incapable de réparer.

En revanche, je vois plutôt ton Windows en sdb1, puisqu'on y voit un winload.exe.

Le plus sage serait, je pense, de réinstaller ton Linux en mode Legacy sur l'espace libre en sdb, en prenant soin de placer GRUB dans le mbr de ce disque. Ensuite, il sera temps de s'occuper de sda qui présente, lui aussi, plusieurs anomalies.

Si je lis bien, la mise à niveau de win a agrandi à gauche la partition étendue.
                      En #21 et 27, elle commençait au secteur :
160581630 / 160,581,630     Extended, (pour une taille de 35.2G)
                      Depuis #30, elle commence en :
102402048     Extended, (pour une taille de 63G)

  Et dans le même temps, la partition ntfs située avant a été réduite, passant de
160578024/2/1024/1024 = 76,5695 Gio (en #27), à
101318170/2/1024/1024 = 48,3122 Gio (en #30).

Cela m'étonne, mais c'est toi l'expert, ikewdu. Ai-je mal lu ?
