[Résolu][Dual-Boot Ubuntu/Mac] Invite de commande grub au démarrage
Bonjour à tous !
Avant toute chose je souhaiterais vous remercier par avance de l'attention que vous porterez à mon problème. Après quelques recherches et essais peu concluants, je ne peux que venir solliciter votre expertise. 
Je suis sur MacBook Air (version début 2015) avec la dernière version de macOS d'installée.

Alors voilà, récemment j'eus la nécessité d'utiliser Linux dans le cadre des études. Mon Mac ne disposant pas d'un espace de stockage fameux, j'ai décidé, via un Live USB, d'installer Ubuntu sur un disque dur externe que je pourrai brancher en USB.
L'installation se déroule a priori correctement. Je partitionne mon disque dur en deux : la racine et la swap, et je choisis bien sûr mon disque dur externe pour l'installation du boot loader. L'installation se termine et je redémarre ma machine.
Premier problème, mon disque dur est branché, et lors du démarrage, mon écran affiche directement le Shell grub avec pour seule possibilité d'interaction une ligne de commande démarrant par :
grub>Rien n'y fait, après plusieurs reboots, le problème persiste toujours et seul l'invite de commande grub m'est proposée, et cela disque dur externe branché ou non. Peut-être est-ce parce que Ubuntu a quand même décidé d'installer les fichiers de boot dans mon disque interne ou non, je ne sais pas. Mon seul moyen de contourner ce problème était d'appuyer sur la touche Option (Alt ⌥) et d'accéder au gestionnaire de démarrage de Mac.
Arrivé à ce point, deuxième problème, le gestionnaire me propose uniquement le démarrage sur mon disque interne "Macintosh HD" et mon disque Ubuntu n'apparaît pas (alors qu'il est bien branché). Après quelques recherches, j'utilise, via une session d'essai de ma Live USB, l'utilitaire boot-repair en sélectionnant la réparation recommandée.
Le problème est toujours présent et mon écran affiche toujours le Shell de grub avec toujours la même ligne de commande :
grub>Cependant, lorsque j'accède au gestionnaire de démarrage (toujours avec la touche Option d'enfoncée au démarrage), je remarque qu'un nouveau disque de démarrage, intitulé "EFI Boot", m'est proposé. Et là jouissance, en "cliquant" dessus, je démarre sur Ubuntu. Tout fonctionne parfaitement sur le système.
Jusque-là, mon post dans ce forum n'a donc aucun intérêt me direz-vous. Mais reste que l'affichage constant du Shell de grub au démarrage lorsque je n'enfonce pas la touche Option est assez gênant à la longue. De plus, j'ai remarqué qu'au niveau du gestionnaire de démarrage, mon deuxième disque "EFI Boot" mentionné plus tôt subsistait toujours même lorsque mon disque dur externe n'était pas branché.
Lorsque je vais dessus, un petit paragraphe de code s'exécute (voir ci-dessous) et je retombe dans le Shell de grub.

lorsque mon disque dur externe n'est pas branché : le système macOS démarre normalement comme dans un autre Mac et le gestionnaire de démarrage n'affiche qu'un seul disque de démarrage qui est celui de "Macintosh HD", puisqu'il n'y en a qu'un seul après tout
lorsque mon disque dur externe est branché : le système macOS démarre par défaut lorsque la touche Option n'est pas enfoncée. Lorsqu'elle l'est, le gestionnaire me propose alors naturellement deux possibilités de démarrage (macOS ou Ubuntu)
À titre d'exemple, cela ressemble un peu à ce qui se passe lorsque je branche ma Live USB mais cette fois-ci avec le disque dur contenant Ubuntu.
Je n'ai pour l'instant rien sur mon système Ubuntu alors une éventuelle réinstallation complète ne me dérangerait pas.
Voilà pour mon explication. Il s'agit de la première fois que je poste un sujet d'aide sur un forum et la longueur est peut-être inappropriée mais je voulais absolument que ma situation vous fût le plus clair possible.

Pas sûr que GRUB soit efficace, d'autant qu'on ne sait pas quel fichier est lance au démarrage du Mac. On ne voit rien dans la partition efi qui soit significatif, ni dans le rapport efibootmgr. En revanche, je me demande ce que des fichiers M$ fichent là-dedans.

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de Mac, mais j'ai surtout vu des cas utilisant un installateur spécialisé, autre que celui d'ubuntu : vois refit dans la Doc.
Et, si ça ne t'éclaire pas suffisamment, cherche refind sur le forum, en collant ceci

A vrai dire, je suis capable d'accéder au gestionnaire de démarrage GNU Grub lorsque je boot sur "EFI Boot" dans mon gestionnaire de démarrage Mac. Ce qui me gêne, c'est plutôt cette invite de commande qui se lance en tout premier lorsque je démarre mon Mac (disque dur externe branché ou non).
Lorsque je démarre mon Mac sans toucher à rien d’autre, j’atterris sur ça:

Lorsque je démarre mon Mac en enfonçant la touche Option, j’atterris dans le gestionnaire de démarrage Mac:

J'avais autrefois installé une partition Windows avec BootCamp que j'ai ensuite supprimé, c'est peut-être lié.
Savez vous comment on peut supprimer ces Boot files ?

Bon, j'ai réussi à résoudre ce problème d'invite de commande de Grub qui se lance au démarrage.
Pour les intéressés, il faut supprimer les "Boot files" mentionnés dans le boot-info qui sont dans la partition EFI.

Cependant, je ne peut plus booter sur Ubuntu. Dans le gestionnaire de démarrage, mon Mac ne reconnait plus mon disque dur externe avec Ubuntu d'installé dessus.

Ce lien sera utile à l'avenir. On aurait pu le faire depuis Linux, mais personnellement, je n'ai pas osé te proposer les commandes, car boot-info n'a pas détecté tous les dossiers de la partition efi. Il faudrait même en principe supprimer les dossiers Microsoft et l'entrée en NVRam :

Mais à nouveau, je ne suis pas suffisamment sûr de te donner les bons conseils pour le faire. En principe, il suffit d'ajouter un dossier dans la partition efi, et une entrée en NVram, mais est-ce que ça fonctionne de la même manière sous Mac que sur PC ? Je ne peux pas l'affirmer.

Tout fonctionne parfaitement !
J'ai réinstallé Ubuntu sur mon disque dur externe en le partitionnant en 3 cette fois-ci : une EFI (avec le flag BOOT/ESP), une swap et une racine. Dans la partie "Type d'installation", il faut choisir d'installer le boot loader dans la partition EFI créée plus tôt. Redémarrez.
Ensuite sur la session Live, il faut aller dans l'utilitaire boot-repair puis dans "Options avancées" puis dans "Emplacement de GRUB" et cocher "Partition /boot/efi séparée" en sélectionnant bien la partition EFI. Redémarrez.
Après cela, aller sur votre session macOS et supprimer les fichiers de Boot Files inutiles qui se trouvent dans la partition EFI de votre disque interne (Tuto : http://forum.macbidouille.com/index.php … pic=387964).
A partir de là, tout devrait parfaitement fonctionner. Votre Mac démarre par défaut sur macOS. Lorsque vous démarrez en enfonçant la touche Option, vous pourrez remarquer le choix d'un EFI Boot sur votre disque dur externe.

Je viens d'installer Ubuntu... mais je rencontre le même problème que toi. Ton explication au problème est très bien définit:
Concrètement, ce que je souhaiterais:
lorsque mon disque dur externe n'est pas branché : le système macOS démarre normalement comme dans un autre Mac et le gestionnaire de démarrage n'affiche qu'un seul disque de démarrage qui est celui de "Macintosh HD", puisqu'il n'y en a qu'un seul après tout roll
lorsque mon disque dur externe est branché : le système macOS démarre par défaut lorsque la touche Option n'est pas enfoncée. Lorsqu'elle l'est, le gestionnaire me propose alors naturellement deux possibilités de démarrage (macOS ou Ubuntu)
Nous somme en 2022. si t'es dans le coin je veux bien un peu d'aide.
J'ai bien lu ta réponse au problème mais je n'y arrive pas.

Je te suggère de créer une nouvelle discussion sur le forum : les indications pour le faire sont données dans le paragraphe 4.1 Initier une nouvelle discussion de la page "Aide à l'utilisation du forum Ubuntu‑FR". Je te conseille de mentionner "Ubuntu/Mac" dans le titre de cette nouvelle discussion pour attirer l'attention des aidants qui pratiquent Mac et qui pourraient t'aider plus efficacement. Tu y donneras si tu veux le lien vers la présente discussion en indiquant que ton problème te semble proche de celui de maxime.zhg
