Besoin d'un avis sur le hardware

Bonjour,

Depuis environ six mois je possède un pc (portable) avec les caractéristiques suivantes:

Mémoire 7.6 Gio
Processeur Intel core i7-7500 CPU @ 2.70GHz x4
Carte graphique Intel HD Graphics 620 (Kaby Lake GT2)
Type système d'exploitation 64bits
Disque principal 237.9Go

Au niveau du système j'ai Ubuntu 16.04

J'aurais besoin d'un retour sur les performances ci-dessous:

Lorsque je crée un Powerpoint (LO Impress) avec des photos, lorsque je souhaite effectuer une rotation de 90° il me faut attendre environ 10 secondes et l'écran passe par le noir et blanc.

Je fait du montage sur Kdenlive avec des vidéos filmées en 4k. Afin d'avoir une utilisation fluide, je dois réduire la qualité de l'image au minimum pendant la durée du montage.

Avec Flightgear, je dois me contenter du graphisme minimum. Et même comme cela, ça n'empêche pas de petites saccades de temps à autre. Pour comparaison, l'ordinateur de mon épouse qui a un i3, supporte un graphisme plus élevé, sans saccade.

Je sais pas si cela change quelque chose, mais je trouve que le ventilateur se met relativement facilement en route dès que le PC est un peu sollicité comme avec Kdenlive.

J'aimerais savoir si ces capacité sont normale (et il faudra que je m'y fasse) ou si un pc avec ces caractéristiques devrait donner de meilleures performance, notamment avec Flightgear.
(Pour info, j'ai fait un test avec Memtest86+ en laissant deux passages et il n'y a aucune erreur)

On y voit que ton portable est livré avec Ubuntu 16.04.3 pré-installé. A la lecture de ton post #1, ça ne sautait pas aux yeux que ton portable était pré-installé Ubuntu : j'avais compris que tu avais installé toi-même Ubuntu. Du coup, ce serait intéressant de vérifier quelques points particuliers, aussi je te prie de démarrer une session de ton Ubuntu installé et depuis cette session, faire un Boot-Info en suivant les indications du paragraphe 1.1 Cas où au moins un ubuntu installé sur disque est opérationnel. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sdb (ATA Samsung SSD 850) !

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

qui signifie que le démarrage se fait avec les paramètres de noyau suivants :

Ces paramètres sont pris automatiquement au démarrage parce qu'ils sont mentionnés dans le fichier /etc/default/grub comme des options par défaut : 

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_os_name=Linux acpi_osi= acpi_backlight=vendor"

Moi je ne sais pas si chacun de ces paramètres est réellement utile pour ton ordi ou pas. Je le mets en évidence, c'est tout. Ce que je viens de constater en fouinant avec Google, c'est que ces paramètres ont à voir avec la luminosité de l'écran. Pas sûr que qu'il y ait un rapport avec tes soucis. Pas d'autre idée.

Oui, je me suis d'abord adressé au vendeur de l'ordinateur. Celui-ci fait toujours appel à swisslinux dans ce genre de cas. Il a donc ouvert un poste où il a publié mon courriel, mais il est finalement le seul à interagir (M. Marthaler) et cela fait maintenant plus de deux semaines. Pour ma part j'ai toujours préféré Ubuntu-fr.
