PR 9 N -11 Virt 1169212 Res 7348 SHR 5484 S: S cpu 5,6% Mem 0,2%

Valeurs banales. Mais on va approfondir avec 3).

3) Ouvre des consoles dès le début ;
  Dans l'une, le classique

top   # puis
M

ps fauxwww | tr -s " " | cut -d" " -s -f4,11,12,13 | sort -nr | head -20 >> ps-02.txt
top | head -25 >> top01.txt ; top

popol@calanques:~$ cat usr/bin/chargeram

echo "       TOP " >> crash.log

C'est anormal, sauf si !
- tu ne t'étais pas délogué-relogué après réglage du swappiness ;
- ou tu avais utilisé presque toute ta ram puis tu avais refermé les applis gourmandes ;

@nam1962

ls -l /usr/share/xsessions

voici :

popol@calanques:~$ ls -l /usr/share/xsessions/
total 4

Oui !

Bon, on tient l'explication cherchée en #32.

  qu'on trouve tout et n'importe quoi sur la toile ;
  qu'il suffit d'attendre (une minute dans mon expérience) ;

sudo swapoff -a && sudo swapon -a

  - -

jpberroir a écrit :

"TSC" = time shift control

et alors tu testes divers réglages de ton bios, diverses options de grub, en espérant aboutir ;

top, statut I, un peu d'enquête : https://www.quora.com/What-does-Linux-p … top-output

static const char * const task_state_array[] = {

        /* states in TASK_REPORT: */
        "R (running)",          /* 0x00 */
        "S (sleeping)",         /* 0x01 */
        "D (disk sleep)",       /* 0x02 */
        "T (stopped)",          /* 0x04 */
        "t (tracing stop)",     /* 0x08 */
        "X (dead)",             /* 0x10 */
        "Z (zombie)",           /* 0x20 */
        "P (parked)",           /* 0x40 */

        /* states beyond TASK_REPORT: */
        "I (idle)",             /* 0x80 */
};

je cite cet article

Digging more in kernel sources I found that the record for I is TASK_REPORT_IDLE, which is returned from kernel guts (function __get_task_state) when process has status TASK_IDLE, which in fact is a combination of

#define TASK_IDLE   (TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE | TASK_NOLOAD)

and another search got me to this commit. It says that idling kernel threads (those waiting for work) are marked as uninterruptible. However, all uninterruptible processes contribute to load average (see the last 3 numbers in top’s first line) which skews statistics in the case of idling kernel threads. Citing the commit message, having all idle kthreads contribute to the loadavg is somewhat silly.

So kernel authors added special flag TASK_NOLOAD which marks uninteruptible process that doesn’t contribute to load average (hence no-load).

Thus, these idle kernel threads are reported as I in the top’s output. Since this is recent addition (only some 31 months in the time of writing of this answer) the manuals for appropriate tools are not updated.

Pour avoir déniché l'ecplication du "I" (i majuscule) : bravo !

Alors tu as un sacré choix de remplacements :
Xénon, Kubuntu 16.04.1, Debian8+KDE, Debian9+KDE, OpenSuse...  smile

Re : [Résolu ] Kubuntu 18.04 : kwin instable : SLIDESHOW

ok,

sudo chmod a-x /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/iscan

est celle qui a réglé le problème ?

merci encore pour tout
JP
