Peux tu faire la même manip, toujours avec nomodeset, mais en supprimant quiet et splash.

splash fait apparaître le logo

C'est surtout quiet qui m'intéresse (de le virer) : ça va t'afficher un ensemble de lignes de boot. On verra laquelle plante... (enfin j'espère)

J'ai besoin de faire quelques recherches, je dois me déconnecter pour l'instant. Ca a l'air de confirmer un problème avec la carte graphique (j'entends par là que le driver n'est pas approprié ou que la carte est mal configurée, ce n'est à priori pas un problème matériel)

En attendant, tu peux essayer avec le paramètre suivant, à la place de nomodeset :
Ecrire "modprobe.blacklist=nouveau" entre splash et la fin (---), avec un espace entre splash et mod... et un espace entre nouveau et ---. Remarque, il n'y a aucun espace dans modprobe.blacklist=nouveau (quand le clavier est un clavier AZERTY il faut taper ,odprobe:blqcklist=nouvequ pour que s'affiche modprobe.blacklist=nouveau

Tu vas forcer l'ordinateur à gérer l'affichage sans le driver nouveau. Si ça démarre, regarde si un driver propriétaire est proposé.

J'ai essayé avec modprobe et ça ne démarre pas. L'écran reste bloqué sur xubuntu.

Peux tu essayer d'ouvrir un shell à ce moment là (ctrl+F1)

Ta carte graphique est une gma3150. Le driver est intégré dans le noyau.

Comme tu n'arrives pas à booter, nous ne pouvons pas savoir quel est le driver graphique utilisé.

Tu peux également essayer en passant le paramètre suivant :
modprobe.blacklist=gma3150 (qui doit s'écrire ,odprobe:blqcklist=gmq3150

Je reste sur l'hypothèse que c'est un bug au niveau de la prise en charge de la carte graphique. Je parle de bug puisque ça fonctionnait avec une 14.04. Ca reste néanmoins qu'une hypothèse et donc nous sommes peut être entrain de perdre notre temps.

Essaie avec le paramètre suivant :
systemd.restore_state=0 (à la place de nomodeset). Avec un clavier AZERTY ça se tape : syste,d:restore°stqte=0 (° il faut appuyer sur shift, le dernier symbole c'est zéro)

Je viens d'essayer avec ce paramètre et Xubuntu a démarré !

Salut,
Pour l'instant le paramètre doit être mis à chaque fois que tu bootes. Donc, redémarre en utilisant la même procédure que celle qui a fonctionné.
Une fois que ta session est ouverte, ouvre un shell (terminal) :

sudo cp /etc/default/grub /etc/default/grub.old
sudo nano /etc/default/grub

sur la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT, ajouter systemd.restore_state=0
Ca doit donner quelque chose comme

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash systemd.restore_state=0"

sauvegarder (ctrl o)
Entrée
quitter (ctrl x)

sudo update-grub
reboot

Tiens nous au courant si ça fonctionne et si c'est le cas, tu pourras passer le sujet en résolu en éditant ton premier message et en modifiant le titre en ajoutant [Résolu] en tête.

Bonjour,
Si c'est résolu par la manip détaillée dans le post #34, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Xubuntu installé et de donner L'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse. Cela permettra de vérifier l'état final de ton installation.

Pour info : dans cet autre fil, on peut voir que moinefrancisco est tombé sur ce même problème avec Xubuntu 16.04.1 sur son Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 (voir son post #12).

Merci pour l'info, ça donne une explication technique. Je ne l'avais pas trouvé ce fil là. Conseilles tu de rester avec le paramètre dans grub ou de virer le service avec systemctl?

@Sofrandre, j'ai oublié de te rappeler de faire les mises à jour et de les faire ensuite régulièrement :

sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade

Et minimum une fois par mois :

sudo apt autoremove --purge

pour virer ce qui ne sert plus à rien

Si tu installes des ppa, fais attention avec leur maintenance : full-upgrade tire tous les paquets...

Même si moinefrancisco l'a résolu d'une autre façon, je pense que ce que tu proposes dans le post #34 est la meilleure solution du point de vue de la simplicité de réalisation et du point de vue de la visibilité pour les aidants qui auraient à intervenir dans l'installation de Sofandre (un paramètre de noyau ajouté, ça saute aux yeux)

Je viens d'ajouter ton modèle Inspiron Mini 1018 dans la Liste des portables « Dell ». Ce modèle - décrit sur cette page - est équipé d'un processeur Intel Atom N455

Bonjour Sofrande,

Garde en mémoire le post #19 de malbo. Ton disque dire a réalloué quelques secteurs défectueux, ce n'est plus très sain. Tu peux continuer avec, mais fais des sauvegardes très régulièrement de tes données sur un disque externe.
