[Résolu] epson perfection v330

Bonjour

Je suis bloqué depuis une semaine sur le sujet.
J'ai pelé les sujet,chargé des logiciels mais cela ne marche pas.
je pense avoir enregistré les drivers et le systeme semble voir le scanner mais en lançant ISCAN pas de scanner trouvé.
Ubuntu 18.04

Salut,

Ne pas utiliser sane avec un scanner epson mais le logiciel maison de Epson, Iscan disponible sur le site de téléchargement de Epson : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/scanner_epson … otes_epson
Ce wiki sur epson est bizarre car il fait un joyeux mélange entre Sane et Iscan, c'est quasi incompréhensible !
Dans un premier temps applique la solution décrite en paragraphe 2 et non celle du 2.1 qui semble utiliser Sane.

Personnellement, sous Archlinux j'ai installé récemment le pilote d'un scanner Epson Perfection V370 très facilement car ceux-ci sont présents dans les dépôts Archlinux contrairement à Canonical.
C'est tout ce que j'ai installé sous Archlinux :

Il existe l'équivalent de Iscan et Iscan-data en paquets Debian utilisables sous Ubuntu quant au plugin, je ne sais pas.

Il faudrait que j'essaie d'installer mon scanner Epson sous Ubuntu, ce que je n'ai pas encore tenté.

Edit :
Oups, je vois que tu utilises déjà Iscan mais alors pourquoi tentes-tu de paramétrer Sane qui n'a rien à voir avec Iscan ?

XUBU1957 : je ne comprends rien à ce jargon.

MAXIRE : je ne sais absolument pas ce que je fais!

Pour etre  clair j'utilise Ubuntu car je trouve anormale la situation de monopole des deux "grand" qui ne sont pas des techniciens mais des vendeurs.
Quand j'ai compris que Ubuntu s'adressait non pas à des informaticiens mais au pequin moyen j'ai sauté le pas.
Jusqu'à present tout allait bien en ajoutant imprimante,disque dur amovible,raccordements divers....( sauf mon imprimante/scanner  : ok pour imprimer mais je transite les scans par une carte sd ).
J'ai acheté d'occasion ce scanner photo pour numeriser des negatifs argentiques.
Je cherche donc sur les forums ( meme y tube en americain) un tuto à suivre ; j'en ai trouvé mais ils n'ont pas resolu mon soucis.J'en suis au point de renoncer.

Nota: l'informatique ne m'interesse pas ; je veux juste tuliser la boite à octet.

Mouais, il y a bien un problème avec les scanners Epson sous Ubuntu 18.04, mon V370 n'est pas reconnu même après l'installation de Iscan + son gestionnaire officiel !
Si  je compare Archlinux et Ubuntu 18.04, les règles udev de Ubuntu sont incomplètes !

Désolé pour le jargon, mais tu ne vas pas avoir d'autre choix que de l'utiliser, je vais regarder ce problème de règle Udev mais pas avant ce soir heure française.

C'est dommage que tu aies acheté une Epson, c'est une marque à plutôt éviter sous Linux, mieux vaut utiliser du  HP ou du Canon.

J'ai acheté car sur la liste des scan il etait possible et le scan n'etait pas cher et à 3 km.

C'est le problème, ce scanner devrait fonctionner sous Ubuntu 16.04 alors qu'il ne fonctionne plus sans opération supplémentaire à l'installation de iscan sous Ubuntu 18.04, c'est ce qui s'appelle une régression, et une belle !
Ce qui est étrange c'est que j'ai réussi à installer mon scanner sous Archlinux sans problème particulier alors  que Archlinux n'est pas une distribution grand public.

Je n'ai pas lu tous les post en détail (surtout les lignes de codes !!!) mais le problème des scanners Epson sous Ubuntu 18.04 a été abordé et résolu dans plusieurs sujets depuis sa sortie (j'ai encore fait un dépannage hier sur ce sujet). A essayer donc. (c'est contenu dans la page indiquée par Maxire au post 3)

Salut,

@Robert Algoud, j'ai effectivemment lu la solution proposée dans le wiki et spécifique à Ubuntu 18.04, qui me plaît moyennement.
Plutôt qu'une copie partielle partielle de /usr/lib/sane vers /usr/lib/x86_64-gnu-linux/sane je préfèrerais plutôt le remplacement de  /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane par un lien symbolique vers /usr/lib/sane, à moins que quelque chose m'aie échappé.
Je pense qu'il y a un raté dans la procédure d'installation de sane ou iscan quelque part, je vois que sous Archlinux le répertoire /usr/lib/x86_64-inux-gnu n'existe pas.
Je ne comprends pas ce doublon de bibliothèque sane sous Ubuntu !

Ce n'est pas une question d'élégance, c'est juste qu'un doublon de bibliothèques est dangereux en cas de mise à jour logicielle si comme je le comprends l'une est la copie de l'autre, que l'installation de iscan ne semble pas tenir compte de cette copie et je ne parle pas des règles udev absentes pour le matériel Epson.

J'ai regardé le problème d'un peu plus près, en fait c'est le paquet livré par Epson qui place les gestionnaires de scanner au mauvais endroit soit le répertoire /usr/lib/sane au lieu de /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane.
D'où la nécessité de transférer tout le contenu de  /usr/lib/sane  dans /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane, j'avais cru un instant que ce répertoire  /usr/lib/sane contenait tous les gestionnaires tous modèles et marques confondues, il s'avère que seuls des gestionnaires Epson sont susceptibles de s'y trouver.
En appliquant les indications du paragraphe 2.1 de la documentation cela fonctionne.
Je m'aperçois que j'ai émis quelques inexactitudes dans mon premier message.

Alors Shadock donne-nous quelques informations, histoire de comprendre ce que tu as fait :

dpkg-query --list iscan*
ls /etc/udev/rules.d
cat /etc/udev/rules.d/*
ls /usr/lib/sane
ls /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane/*epko*

Commandes à passer en terminal en mode plein écran !

Déjà, comme l'indique le résultat de la commande dpkg-query --list, les paquets iscan de Epson ne sont pas installés donc cela ne risque pas de marcher alors installe-les :

Après ce téléchargement tu ouvres Nautilus (le gestionnaire de fichiers), tu sélectionnes le dossier Téléchargements et ensuite clic droit sur le fichier iscan-perfection-v330-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb.tar.gz puis «extraire ici», normalement tu devrais obtenir un nouveau répertoire appelé iscan-perfection-v330-bundle-1.0.1.x64, tu l'ouvres et enfin de nouveau clic droit «ouvrir dans un terminal» et tu passes cette commande :

./install.sh

Entre ton  mot de passe utilisateur à sa demande.
Une fois l'opération terminée tu redonnes :

dpkg-query --list iscan*

J'ai besoin de plus de précisions concernant /etc/udev/rules car je ne m'attendais pas à un répertoire aussi encombré et il me manque les informations que je cherchais donc :

cat /etc/udev/rules.d/79-udev-epson.rule

+

cat /etc/udev/rules.d/79-udev-epson.rules

et pour l'instant cela sera tout, je veux juste être certain que tout le nécessaire est en place pour finaliser l'installation.
