Imprimante multifonction Epson ecotank ET-3750

Bonjour à tous !

Je me suis résolu à demander de l'aide, après avoir passé des heures à essayer de faire fonctionner mon imprimante correctement sous Ubuntu...

Elle est connectée à mon réseau WiFi pour pouvoir être utilisée par plusieurs ordinateurs Windows et Xubuntu 18.04 LTS.
La « partie » imprimante fonctionne sans problème (nativement ou via les pilotes obtenus sur le site d'Epson, je vais vérifier), mais c'est le scanner qui pose problème.

Et en plus, dans le forum, la plupart du temps c'est une utilisation via câble USB, donc ça m'aide pas...

J'ai installé le « package » du scanner fourni par epson sur sa page de téléchargements à cette adresse là.

SimpleScan ne fonctionne autant pas que le scanimage de epson...

Ouais...pb connu !!!
Pour la partie imprimante, aucun pb mais pour l partie scanner, galère assurée
Solution (payante -je crois autour d'une quarantaine/cinquantaine d'euros..) Vuescan
Ca marche avec une infinité de scanners...perso je l'utilise depuis plus d'un an sans pb
( sauf, gros piège...il ne faut pas etsre connecté a un Vpn...)

Je possède aussi une Epson ET-3750 en réseau sous Kubuntu.

Après installation du même package j'ai procédé ensuite à sa déclaration dans le fichier imagescan.conf

(voir manuel)
7. Setting Network Plug-in
This chapter explains how to set the connection from Image Scan! for Linux to a scanner that is directly attached to the network.
By using the network plug-in, you can connect to a scanner that is directly attached to the network.
Please note that scanning over the network is only supported in a client/ server setup.
Scanners directly attached to the network are not supported.
1.Connect the scanner to the network and set the IP address.
For information on how to set the IP address, refer to the user manual shipped with your scanner.
2.Please edit /etc/imagescan/imagescan.conf file by using root privileges as
below.
Example:

vendor : Vendor name on Main Window.
model : Model name on Main Window.

Je n'avais pas vu vos réponses...

Bon, de toute façon, l'imprimante ayant d'autres problèmes, le distributeur l'a repris et on verra par la suite. Il doit contacter Epson pour le problème qu'on rencontre, ainsi que cette histoire de pilote linux (j'espère que ça le fera réaliser que y a pas que mac oh merde et fenêtres )
