Transfert partitions OEM sur SSD
Bonjour
J'ai installé Ubuntu 20.04 en dual boot sur mon asus X751LD, coté Ubuntu cela marche au poil, coté windows 8.1 il est inutilisable tellement il rame.
J'ai acheté un SSD de 250go Avant d'installer Ubuntu je souhaiterai réinstaller windows oem comme neuf. c'est à dire uniquement transférer les partitions pour une réinstallation comme neuf,

Copier les partitions et réinstaller sont deux choses différentes, je te conseille de ne pas copier les partitions mais de réinstaller windows en recréant une clé usb d'installation windows (il y aura juste à vérifier que tout le matos est pris en charge, sinon il faut aller chercher les pilotes sur le site du constructeur).
Je n'avais essayé qu'une fois de copier une install windows en copiant ses partitions et ça avait été un échec cuisant.
La licence est normalement associée à la carte mère, tu ne devrais pas avoir besoin de rentrer de code d'activation. Toute la difficulté est de faire une clé usb windows. Pour ma part je la fais généralement depuis un windows avec rufus, mais il y a moyen de faire une clé windows à partir de Linux (woeusb apparemment)

Bonjour
Copier une partition Linux avec gparted ça fonctionne ,avec Windows il faut le support d'installation pour réparer le démarrage
Dernièrement j'ai utilisé la commande dd pour cloner Windows et j'ai copier/coller mon linux avec gparted depuis un live
ensuite depuis ce live j'ai passé les commandes pour réinstaller grub et tout fonctionne
Dans ton cas la réinstallation de Windows comme te conseille Nuliel est la meilleur chose a faire s'il rame anormalement
et si ton Ubuntu est une installation fraîche le réinstaller également

Tu peux recopier SDA1 qui est la partition de BOOT.
ainsi que SDA4 qui est le C:
Mais tu as intérêt a diminuer sa taille
Une idée: Utilise partclone pour sauver dans un fichier et restaurer dans une partition que tu auras fabriquée à la taille qui te convient.

j'ai installé un W10 sur le pc de mon fils dont le dd a lâché , je n'ai pas eu de probleme avec la licence , mais de ça il y a 3 ans , je ne sais pas maintenant
