[Abandon] Touchpad non reconnu sur ASUS
Bonjour,
Un ami m'a laissé son pc Asus X751L pour lui installer Ubuntu 20.04. Malheureusement, je découvre que le touchpad n'est pas reconnu, autant en live, qu'une fois installé. Comme je n'ai jamais dépanné ce type de problème, je viens demander de l'aide. Pourriez-vous m'aider à faire fonctionner le pavé tactile svp ?

Pour régler ce souci, il suffit généralement d'ajouter au noyau le paramètre i8042.nopnp. Sur certains portables il est nécessaire de modifier des paramètres dans le bios. Par exemple désactiver le mode Advanced sur les Packard Bell.
Dans le bios, l'option Internal pointing device est Enabled

Abandon : c'est un problème matériel puisque le pavé ne fonctionne pas aussi sous windows 10 et d'autres OS testés.
