Installation des drivers ATI

Config: ATI Radeon mobility 9700
             Portable Asus Centrino

J'ai fait l'install de fglrx comme indiqué dans les tuto ubuntu
Voilà les réponses dans la console:

Ici glxgears démarre trés bien et devient hyperlent au bout de quelges secondes seulement.

Ubuntu ne fonctionne plus avec XFree86 mais avec Xorg !!
Verifice ta configuration big_smile

J'ai le même problème avec un portable toshiba et une carte graphique Radeon Mobility x600
Avant l'installation des drivers, j'étais à 680fps sous glxgears, maintenant que je les ai installés je suis à 175fps. Et tout comme ursule, les "rouages" démarrent vite puis "coincent" au bout de quelques secondes hmm

J'ai le meme soucil. J'ai passé pas mal de temps a configurer un emulateur Psx et ma carte graphique : la ca tourne mais c'est bien lent... Et parreil que vous : les rouages tournent correctement pendant 5sec puis ralentissent mechamment...

Au fait, glxgears n'affiche pas les FPS chez moi, c'est normal ?

J'ai tenté la reinstallation comme conseillé, j'obtient les erreurs suivante :

Merci, c'est effectivement la bonne solution pour moi aussi smile
En revanche, j'ai un autre problème désormais: l'affichage s'est bloqué en 1024x768, et y a plus moyen de lui faire entendre raison! Sur mon portable, il me faut du 1280x800, mais après recherche, on dirait que c'est pas donné à tout le monde...

Ma carte graphique est une ATI Mobility Radeon 9600, et voici mon fichier xorg.conf:

J'ai essayé tout un tas de réglages différents sur ce xorg.conf; au mieux il ne se passe rien, au pire l'affichage devient illisible et je suis bon pour arrêter le serveur graphique. Je ne vois plus trop quoi faire... hmm
