[Résolu] Ubuntu ne se lance pas après l'install...

Bonsoir,

Je viens d'installer hardy heron 64, tout s'est bien déroulé, jusqu'à la demande de reboot.
Puis, le problème c'est que je n'ai jamais le choix de l'os à lancer, c'est chaque fois xp qui démarre directement... j'aimerais que ce soit ubuntu par défaut et que je puisse choisir xp si j'en ai besoin...

Dans le bios:
=>Boot=>Boot Device Priority:
1st : Boot Device CDROM
2nd :  Boot Device Hard Disk
3rd : Boot Device Removable

=>Boot=>Hard Disk Drives:
1. SATA1 : ST3400320As
2. 2nd Slave : Maxtor 6L160P0

et si je lance le live cd et que je vais voir dans le dossier boot=>menu.lst
Voici son contenu:

Sur quel disque as-tu installé Ubuntu ? Comment as-tu installé grub ?

sa s'en le fakeraid tout ça !!

sinon, lance le livecd, et lancer dans un terminal :

Lancer grub

sudo grub --batch

trouver la partition (hd0 ou hd1 generalement)

grub> find /boot/grub/stage1

pour reinstaller grub

grub> setup (hd0 ou hd1)
grub> quit

redémarre et ça devrai etre bon,

gaston2150, j'ai essayé ta marche a suivre mais apparement ca coince juste avant la fin, voici la console:

j'ai  essayé la commande install que j'avais trouvé sur un post mais ca ne donne rien de mieux...

J'ai installé win sur une partition du disque SATA puis j'ai laissé ubuntu partionner le reste du disque SATA et installé grub.
vu la commande ci dessous il semblerait qu'ubuntu soit sur hd0,6:

find /boot/grub/stage1
 (hd0,6)

Ce qui me semble bizard c'est que dans le menu.lst c'est qu'on parle plutot de hd1,6:

je ne devrais pas mettre 'root (hd1,6)' au lieu de 'root (hd1,0)' qui est windows... mais j'aimerais avoir la possibilité de choisir parmi les 2 os, mais ubuntu par defaut

Voici le résultat:

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ ls -l /boot/grub/
ls: cannot access /boot/grub/: No such file or directory

Mais par contre la commande find /boot/grub/stage1 fonctionnait... hm-hum-hummm

je ne vois pas la possibilité de mettre une image sur le forum donc la voici http://www.mundo-libre.org/grub.png -> screenshoot du dossier grub...

essai la démarche plus haut met en mettant hd1 pour voir

car je vois qu'ubuntu est installé sur le 2e disque

Si je mets juste  setup(hd1) j'ai un message qui dit :"Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition"
Mais c'est toujours l'OS de Billy qui démarre...

bonsoir a tous
je suis utilisateur d'ubuntu depuis feisty fawn
mais a l'installation de Hardy heron ,ubuntu ne demarre pas.

le live dvd fonctionne sans erreur ,sans blocage,tout est OK...
mais apres l'installation de hardy heron (demarrage normal),la barre de progression orange s'arrete...
je redemarre en mode recovery mode ,je note les erreurs suivantes (etoile rouge):
Code:

1. can't start hardware astraction layer.please ensure dbus is running.
2. loading hardware drivers
la commande x-session-manager me renvoie l'erreur 3527

je signale que j'ai jamais eu ce probleme sous feisty ou bien sur gutsy ,par contre sous hardy....
je n'ai mis ni de cables reseau,ni de modem,ni de routeur pendant le demarrage
dois je reinstaller  encore?

config de mon pc:
Toshiba satellite Pro A10 (pc portable)
disque dur Hitachi Hts54516K9sA00 : 160 giga
RAM :1024 MO
INTEL CORE 2 duo T7300 2GHZ
Intel CORE 2 duo  T2310 1.46 GHZ

@etpourquoipas : tu as grub qui se lance au démarrage ou pas ?

si non : change dans le bios, le disque dur de boot et met le 2e

si oui ; change dans le menu.lst (hd1,6) en (hd1,5) ou (hd1,4) pour tenter de trouver la partition à booter

aucune trace visible de grub au démarage, je retourne dans le bios mais ce que je ne comprends pas c'est qu'ubuntu et windooooze xp sont sur le même disque (SATA). sur l'ide il n'y a rien... donc le disque du boot est bien le bon non??

non pas trop car ton disque ne serait plus hd1 mais hd0.

linux n'aime pas qu'on touche au disque comme ça

Bon dans le bios,
=>boot => hard disk drives:
1. Sata  : ST3400320AS
2. 2nd Slave : Maxtor...

C'est tout ce que j'y trouve. Bon là je ne sais pas si ca peut poser des conflits mais le maxtor IDE est en slave et il n'y a pas de master IDE.

Sinon, le sata ou se trouve windoooze et ubuntu est bien en premier...

je pense que je vais déconnecter mon ide, reformater le tout et réinstaller le tout parce que ca ne fonctionne toujours pas :-(

La seule solution que j'ai trouvé fut de déconnecter le disque ide, supprimer les partitions, puis réinstaller ubuntu.

Tout fonctionne parfaitement maintenant, merci gaston2150 pour ton aide.
