Carte Wifi Atheros et kernet 2.6.24-18
Aujourd'hui, la mise à jour à mis le kernel 2.6.24-18.
Plus de wifi sur mon portable ! Si je boote sur le kernel précédent (2.6.24-17), ça marche (la preuve, là je suis en wifi...)
- Ubuntu 8.04 sur
- Toshiba P200 1BY
- Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
Juste pour que ce soit remonté aux développeurs...
Note:
Dans /boot/grub j'ai bêtement renommé le menu.lst~ en menu.lst pour booter automatiquement sur l'ancien kernel par défaut.

normal il faut réinstaller le modules que tu as déjà compiler pour l'ancien noyau, ce seras comme ça a chaque changement de noyau
Places toi dans dans le repertoire des sources de madwifi
et fais
sudo make install

j'a un sony VGN NR32, et j'ai un pb avec le wiffi , je n'arrive pas à me connecter malgré que j'a installe le vpnc du campus, comme j'ai installé tout les pakages network et madwiff existant dans synaptic.
