De la 3D avec Chrome9 mais pas Compiz

Bonjour à tous

Voila mon problème :

Ce matin j'installe Hardy Heron Sur mon PC Desktop dont voici la configuration :
Pentium 4D @3.20Ghz
1 Go RAM DDR-2
2X 80 Go Disque Dur WD
Carte son Trust 5.1 Surrond
Chipset Video VIA Chrome 9 HC Integrated Graphic
Northbridge VIA P4M900
Southbridge VIA VT8237S

Pour avoir les beaux effets 3D, j'installe donc le Driver pour mon Chipset trouvé sur le site de VIA dans la partie support/linux portal de www.via.com.tw.

Il y a l'air d'avoir de la 3D, GLXgears me donne Ceci

5471 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1094.018 FPS

Quand j'essaie d'activer compiz, une boite de dialogue m'informe que les effets ne peuvent être activés, et quand je tente un compiz --replace, j'obtiens ceci :

J'ai bien mis "via" dans la whitelist de /usr/bin/compiz comme l'indique le driver mais rien y fait.

De plus ma résolution est limitée à 1024x768 alors que je peux normalement pousser à 1280x1024 (la résolution que j'avais avec le Live CD et après installation).
EDIT : En bricolant dans le xorg, j'ai réussi à régler mon problème de résolution.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider?

mais j'ai lu que le driver via ne fonctionnais pas encore pour compiz.

il existe cependant le pilote openchrome que tu peut tester et qui pourrait fonctionner.
