[Résolu] Grub sur DD externe
Bonjour,
J'essaie d'installer ubuntu sur un vieux pc qui n'a de lecteur de cd-rom.
J'ai donc utiliser mon portable pour installer (installation minimale) ubuntu sur le disque du fixe.
Mais je me retrouve avec une erreur grub 18 
Voilà quelques retour de commande :

Aprés quelques recherches voila ce que j'ai fait
sudo grub

bootEnfin les UUID correspondent bien à sdb6 et j'ai modifié les (hd1,5) en hd(0,5)
Voila je veux bien un coup de main parce que là je vois pas trop où est le problème

18 : Selected cylinder exceeds maximum supported by BIOS
Cette erreur est retournée quand une tentative de lecture est réalisée sur un bloc au-delà de ceux gérés par de BIOS. Elle se produit généralement si votre disque est plus grand que les limites du BIOS (512MO pour les disques (E)IDE sur les anciennes machines, ou plus de 8GO en général).
Ton repertoire /boot est sur sda6, bien trop "loin" pour que ton bios puisse y accéder ... Il faudrait peut-être recopier le contenu de /boot sur sda1 et modifier les paramètres du menu.lst et réinitialiser grub (root et setup). A essayer, sans garantie, je n'ai jamais pratiqué cela !

En fait j'ai remplacé le dd interne de l'ordinausore par mon dd externe (200 gb) parce qu'il était vraiment petit (5 gb).
Donc il faudrait que je recommence mon installation mais en installant l'os sur la 1ère partition ?

J'ai un autre problème qui est que ma carte réseau ethernet n'est reconnu
En fait elle est reconnu par
lspci
00:0f.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139c/8139c+ (rev10)mais pas par ifconfig qui me retourne que la boucle lo
Le système est 7.10 mais c'est une installation minimal donc je sais pas si il y a les outils pour arranger ça dessus et je n'ai accès qu'à la ligne de commande.
Si tu veux d'autre retour de commande hésite pas.
