sens interdit synaptic

bonjour , je n'arrive plus a faire des apt- get install , ni a installer avec synaptics.
dasns ma barre d'outils en haut j'ai un sens interdit et quand je clic dessu il me dit :

Impossible d'initialiser les données sur les paquets

Un problème insoluble est apparu lors de l'initialisation des données sur les paquets.

Veuillez signaler cette erreur comme un bogue du paquet « update-manager » et inclure le message d'erreur suivant :

'E:Impossible de verrouiller /var/lib/dpkg/status - open (2 Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type), E:Les listes de paquets ou le fichier « status » ne peuvent être analysés ou lus.'

avec le terminal il me dit

root@pc-ced:/home/cedric# apt-get install vlc
E: Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier verrou /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (2 Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?
root@alouqua:/home/cedric#

je ne sais plus comment faire, merci de votre aide

Pour installer un paquet, il te faut les droits root.
Donc, dans ta console :

sudo apt-get install vlc

As tu tenté un rafraichissement de la liste des paquets ?

j'ai essayer apt get update et sudo apt-get -f install
tout reste bloqué, il me dit are you root? a lafin

comment rafraichir la liste des paquets.en tout cas je n'y es pas acces avec synaptics

Tu n'as pas synaptic de lancé quand tu veux faire apt-get ?

PC fixe sous Bionic 64 bits et portable avec Focal 64 bits

fait "groups" sans le sudo su.

colle ici STP **exactement** la commande que tu lances et le message d'erreur

et quand je vais sur le bureau gnome et que je fais ( terminal fermé ) systeme->administration ->
gestionnaire de paquet synaptics
il me repond

une erreur est survenue
les details suivant sont fourni

Quand je click sur le sens interdit sur ma barre des taches du dessus a droite de systeme juste a gauche de la
date du jour il me dit

"cela signifie generalement que certaines dependance des paquets installlé ne sont pas satisfaite
