wifi et carte mère

Bonjour,

Je suis récent sous linux.
J'ai un portable MEDION MD96423 qui marchait très bien jusqu'a ce que la carte mère ne rende l'âme.
Je vient de le récupérer au S.A.V. Carrefour et tout marche bien sauf le WIFI qui ne détecte plus rien....     carte wifi : Intel pro/wireless 4965   802.11.g dont je ne connait pas le Chipset.

Que faire???? J'ai peur qu'ils ne m'ai monté une carte mère sans WIFI........
Le Wifi marchait très bien avant que la carte mère ne claque.
