Grub error 17

Bonjour,

j'ai un probleme suite a une resinstall de Ubuntu :
- J'avais W2000 et Ubuntu et tout marchait correctement, mais j'ai voulu reorganiser mes disque avec gparted, c'est là que ca a commencé a planter : j'avais un Grub error 22 au demarrage.
- Malgré toutes mes lectures, ca plantait, donc j'ai viré W2000, et reinstaller Ubuntu from scratch sur un disque de 80 Go. Pour etre sur de tout remettre a plat, j'ai reconstruis la table de partition avec gparted et j'ai pris l'option "installer Ubuntu sur un disque entier"
- Malheureusement maintenant j'ai un grub error 17 au lancement.

- J'ai bien fait une reinstall de grub avec le cd live en lui indiquant le disque sur lequel se trouve Ubuntu, mais rien n''y fait

sudo grub

mais ca n'y fait rien. Vue que je n'ai plus W2000, je ne comprends pas pourquoi ca plante.

PS : des que ca remarche, je n'y toucherai plus .....

As-tu utilisé la commande find de grub qui te dit sur quel disque/partition il a trouvé un fichier, en l'occurrence stage1 ?

Dans la commande passée plus haut, tu parts du principe qu'il est sur la première partition de ton deuxième disque. Et tu installes grub dans le mbr du deuxième disque. Dans ce cas il te faut booter sur un premièr disque qui passera la main à ce second disque.

Par contre si tu as un seul disque, et il est vu par le bios comme le premier disque lors du boot il sera obligatoirement (hd0).

Revois donc ta configuration dans sa totalité, y compris l'ordre de boot dans le bios.

oui j'ai utilisé find et j'ai utilisé son input pour le reinstallé
donc je peux laisser hd0 en fait ?
j'ai juste un autre diques en SATA sur lequel j'ai mes données.
