ben j'ai bien une "interface"...
et qui me fait pareil (detection de l'imprimante sur l'usb ...installation du pilote...page de test... que dalle!)

je remarque qu'il m'est impossible de lancer hplip en mode graphique... un rapport ?

oui moi aussi, mais la c'est un mode "console" il y a une interface graphique dans systeme-preference...c'est celle la qui ne se lance pas

je viens d'essayer sur mon portable, un dell mini sous 8.04, et ça marche trés bien...

Apparement, le noyau est 2.6.27-9-generic i686
Ma machine est une eeebox avc un processeur atom

Regarder si vous avez d installer le paquet : foo2zjs et foomatic-db

si non, ajouter les avec le gestionnaire de paquets

pour le noyau oui vous bootez sur le 1er qui se trouve en face de la premiere ligne : title

le 1er correspond en fait a la ligne : default 0

le comptage demarre a 0 pour le premier

si vous voulez booter sur un autre il suffit d editer le fichier menu.lst et changer la valeur de default en commencant le comptage a partir de 0

pour le : title Ubuntu 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-7-generic

il faudrait mettre : default 2

si vous modifier le fichier faire ensuite un : sudo update-grub

les paquets foomachin et footruc sont bien installés...
@KS-Icare : oui, j'aimerais bien pouvoir imprimer avec ma 1020...
apparement elle est installée, reconnue, mais rien n'est imprimé (le fichier de tache disparait, comme si la feuille avait réellement été imprimée...
truc de fou !:(

Verifiez si bien installé :

sudo apt-get install cupsys cupsys-client

et

sudo apt-get install hplip
