installation imprimante lexmark z33

bonjour

voila j'ai un petit soucie avec mon imprimante ( lexmark z33 ), je n'arrive pas à l'installer sous ubuntu 8.10.
Ca fait déjà plusieurs jours que je cherche sur le forum des solutions et toutes celle que j'ai trouvé ne marche pas
la dernière que j'ai essayé me semble bien car le driver utilisé et plus récent et compatible d'après le site fournie sur cette page

et bien sur l'impression de la page teste ne se fait pas

je ne sais plus quoi faire

si personne ne peut m'aider
quelqu'un pourrait il me dire dans quel répertoire doit se trouver les drivers de l'imprimante ( format pdd )

oui sans recompiler le pilote
et je le trouve dans la bibliotheque
mais ca ne marche pas quand je le choisis

Reessayer l install avec l imprimante branchée et allumée apres l avoir eteinte et rallumée puis:

placez vous dans le répertoire extrait :

cd lxx74-cups-*

sudo ./lxx74.install

j' ai essayer avec le cordon debranche et quand je taper lsusb elle n'appraissait pas

puis j'ai relié le cordon usb , imprimante eteinte et j'ai ressayer la lsusb la trouvé

puis je l'ai allumé

dans les trois cas j'ai relancé l'install et config avec gestionnaire et cups

et ca me marque toujours pareil quand j'essaye de lancer la page test

je désinstallé l'imprimante
redémarré l'ordi
allumé éteint et rallumé l'imprimante
relancé l'install
reconfiguré avec le gestionnaire
et toujours pareil
marche pas

dans propriété de l'imprimante ca me marque
etat de l'imprimante : inactif can't write page 1 header

Je pense que vous etes pas loin, mais je suis comme votre imprimante je cale ce soir !

peut etre un reboot de tout ca, PC + imprimante ?

elle est definie comme imprimante par defaut ?

Dans comportement : ACTIVÉ est il coché ?
