[Résolu] Problème dans le gestionnaire de paquets (source.list)

Bonjour, je viens d'installer linux et je suis donc un débutant en la matière...
D'où ma présence ici : j'ai un petit problème, lorsque je désire installer des programmes sous linux, soit je tombe sur cette ligne de réponse : E: Impossible de trouver le paquet xxxx.

Après une brève recherche sur internet, j'ai modifié mon fichier source d'origine en le remplaçant par celui-ci :

Cela m'a réglé le problème de recherche des paquets, en revanche, j'ai maintenant un autre problème....
En effet, lorsque je désire installer un programme, il commence le téléchargement des paquets noramalement, cependant au bout d'un moment, dans le cas du programme que je voudrais installer, c'est à 67% qu'il fait des siennes, il m'affiche ces phrases :
E: Vous avez dépassé le nombre de descriptions que cette version d'APT est capable de traiter.
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/fr.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_gutsy_universe_binary-i386_Packages
E: Les listes de paquets ou le fichier « status » ne peuvent être analysés ou lus.

J'ai réellement besoin d'utiliser linux afin de travailler pour mes études, donc ces problèmes, même minimes et inconnus pour moi sont une réelle plaie pour le bon déroulement de mon travail...
Si quelqu'un pouvait m'aider, ce serait vraiment très sympathique et je remercie quiconque se donnera la peine de lire ce post en entier afin de poster une réponse visant à me sortir du pétrin

Salut,

C'est le bazar dans ton sources.list
Il y a un mélange de dépôts gutsy et intrepid. Fais déjà le ménage la dedans.

Ben justement... Le fait est que je ne m'y connais absolument pas là-dedans...
J'ai repris ce source.list sur internet, car la personne qui l'a posté a résolu le même problème que j'avais juste avant, cependant je n'ai pas regardé plus loin...
Est-ce que tu pourrais m'indiquer la marche à suivre?

Edit : je suis parti du principe que tu étais sous intrepid (8.10)

Remplace l'integralité de ton sources.list par :

Ensuite, il faut récuperer la clé du dépôt medibuntu en tapant dans un terminal :

Puis pour mettre à jour la liste des paquets disponibles

sudo apt-get update

suite à une tentative d'installation de medibuntu impossible d'insataller ni de mettre à jour mes logiciels
un gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list me donne

Mais en lançant "ajouter supprimer des applcations", j'obtient:
Échec de la vérification des applications installées et disponibles

Il s'agit d'une erreur majeure de votre système de gestion de logiciels. Veuillez vérifier les paquets cassés avec Synaptic, vérifiez les droits d'accès aux fichiers et la validité du fichier /etc/apt/sources.list, puis rechargez les informations sur les logiciels avec les commandes : « sudo apt-get update » et « sudo apt-get install -f ».
