Essaie ce que je dis plus haut : rajoute uniquement les options relatives aux plages de fréquences et la sous-section "Display" avec la liste des résolutions possibles.

Ok, le log indique que la carte n'obtient pas les données EDID de l'écran.

Donc soit ton écran n'envoie pas son EDID, soit le pilote propriétaire n'est pas capable de l'interpréter, soit tu as un KVM entre ton PC et ton écran.

Ensuite la CG définit donc des mode par défaut pour du 4/3 (hors il me semble que tu as du 16/10 si j'en crois ton ancien Xorg) avec pour max 1600x1200 (et en 16/10 le max est 1680x1050). D'où l'écran, qui se place en HORS PLAGE

Il va donc falloir que tu crées tes propres modelines dans xorg.conf, tels que sur cette page : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=436083
