Bonjour,

J'ai aussi un ptit probleme avec mon clavier suisse... j'ai rajout les lignes que vous expliquez plus haut.. tout a fonctionn.. mais... j'ai installe les drivers de ma carte graphique ATI avec synaptics (vu dans le wiki) et depuis je n'ai plus les accents.. mais plus rien la touche ne fonctionne plus...  j'ai essaye de remettre les lignes mais ca change rien en plus ca provoque des erreur au demarrage.... 

voici mon xorg.conf :

J'ai remplace xfree86 par xorg par rapport a mon ancien xorg.conf mais ca me met une erreur au demarrage puis si je tape dans un terminal

xprop -root | grep XKB

ca donne

_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xfree86", "pc105", "fr_CH", "", ""
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xfree86", "pc105", "fr_CH", "", ""

dans preferences --> clavier j'ai comme claver "fr_CH" si je met ajouter et choisi "Switzerland" "Francais" ca met direct une erreur...

Voila si qqun peut me conseiller...

J'ai installé breezy complétement, mais apparemment si vous avez fait une mise à jour depuis hoary c'est un bug connu.

Voici ce que j'ai trouvé sur le siten en anglais.

Upgrades from 5.04 (Hoary) using Swiss German or Swiss French keyboard layouts -- de_CH and fr_CH respectively -- in combination with other layouts, will result in a 'cannot set keyboard configuration' dialog, and a standard US PC-104 keymap will be used. To work around this, go into the GNOME keyboard selector, and remove and re-add the offending layout.

C'est bon chez moi... vais essayer d'expliquer... mais c'est assez le bordel...

Donc j'ai essayé de faire ce qu'a ecrit ovmantel, j'ai enlevé fr_CH et mi Switzerland Francais... mais ca n'a rien changé. je me suis dit tant qu'a faire je me un clavier francais puis je rechange après. Je met le clavier francais.. ca met des erreurs un peu partout (erreur d'icone introuvable.. gnome-fs-,,,) puis au lieu de quitter la session et revenir (comme je le fais d'habitude) je tape Ctrl-ALt-Backspace... la BOUM... erreur X... je peux plus entrée sous ubuntu.. je reste sous DOS (jsais pas comment l'appeler autrment)..  startx ne fonctionne pas... j'edite xorg.conf (sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf)... je vois rien de bizarre.. j'ai toujours  :

    Option "XkbRules"    "xfree86"
    Option "XkbModel"    "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout"    "ch"
    Option "XkbVariant"    "fr"

donc je ressaye startx.. erreur.. la je vois que l'erreur est du au :

Identifier    "Generic Keyboard"  qui apres install des drivers ATI c'était renomme Keyboard1 donc je reedite xorg.conf... change Identifier    "Generic Keyboard" en Identifier    "Keyboard1"  puis je fais startx... et la MIRACLE...

Mon clavier fonctionne parfaitement...éàèéàéèéàèéà ....  et dans Préférence->Clavier j'ai........ France !!! Lol....

Je sais pas si vous avez tout compris... desolé c'est un peu bordelique... mais ca a marché...
