[Résolu] Disque dur externe mal monté?

Bonjour,

J'ai un nouveau disque dur, tout droit sorti de son emballage, mais impossible de le monter correctement et de le faire fonctionner.

Au début, il ne se montait pas du tout, car je n'avais pas les droits suffisants pour le faire, apparement. Le message d'erreur "hal-storage-removable-mount-all-options refused uid 1000" apparaissait.

Du coup, pour régler ce problème, j'ai décoché la case "Monter en tant qu'utilisateur", dans les propriétés de mon DDE.

Maintenant qu'il est monté, il m'est impossible d'y glisser le moindre fichier (Impossible d'écrire dans media:/).
De plus, il m'assure que mon DDE(sdc1) fait 10Mo (alors qu'il en fait 500Go)...

J'ai essayé de le formater avec Gparted, mais ici encore, problème.
Lorsque je démarre Gparted, une nouvelle partition semble se créer : sdc2
Et je n'arrive pas à formater ni sdc1, ni sdc2...

Bref, j'ai l'impression d'être en face d'un casse tête chinois. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider?

Si c'est un problème de droit, à première vu je te dirais de faire un tour dans ton /etc/fstab afin de le déclarer et de lui donner les droits que tu veux.

Je pense que tu auras besoin de savoir où est monté ton disque dur, un petit sudo fdisk -l te donnera cette info !

En fait ton DD fait bien 500 Go, mais il existe une partition de 10 Mo qui sert à quoi ?

Ce que tu peux faire :
1) supprimer cette partition

2) créer ta(es) partition(s) de type ext3 (je suppose) si tu n'as qu'ubuntu installé. Sinon il faudra prévoir soit du fat32 pour partager avec Xp soit autre.

Pour ce faire :
depuis un terminal tu tapes :
sudo umount /dev/sdb1
puis
sudo  gparted

Et là tu devrais pouvoir supprimer ta partition de 10 Mo et créer les autres.

Je me demande si c'est vraiment judicieux de supprimer cette partition...
Il semble qu'il y ait un petit fichier Start.exe dedans. J'imagine bien que ce .exe ne me sert pas à grand chose sous Linux, mais je risque de connecter ce DDE à d'autres ordinateurs qui eux, fonctionnent sous Windows (je ne suis pas sous Dualboot).

Qu'en penses-tu?

Donc la partition de 10 Mo contient l'exécutable "LaCie Backup Assistant".
(Aucun risque de la supprimer pour l'utilisation de ton disque en tant que .... disque ! Mouaaaa)

Dans le doute,je dirais, autant garder cette partition et l'exécutable. On sait jamais...
Mais ceci ne règle toujours pas mon problème de détection et/ou montage hmm On sait maintenant que mon ordinateur détecte relativement correctement (je crois) cette partition, mais pas l'autre. Or, c'est l'autre qui m'intéresse un peu plus.

sudo fdisk -l ne renseigne qu'une partition sur ton disque.

Demonte le disque :

sudo umount /dev/sdb1

puis lance Gparted avec sudo

Créer la partition sur le reste de ton disque et format en NTFS

Si le formatage de fonctionne pas depuis Gparted

sudo mkntfs /dev/sdb*

En effet, le formatage n'a pas fonctionné avec Gparted. Un message d'erreur s'est ouvert

It is not possible to create more than 1 primary partition
If you want more partitions you should first create an extended partition. Such a partition can contain other partitions. Because an extended partition is also a primary partition it might be necessary to remove a primary partition first.

Et ensuite

As-tu déjà créé une partition avec Gparted ? :
sudo gparted puis création nouvelle partition

Si oui peux-tu donner le résultat de :
sudo   fdisk  -l

Ensuite il faudra formater cette partition. Pouquoi en ntfs ???
Je ne vois pas trop l'intérêt.
Je te conseille plutôt un formatage ext3 pour une utilisation pur ubuntu et fat32 pour échange ubuntu Xp.

Tu peux créer 4 partitions sur ton dd (3 en fait si tu gardes la première)

Je viens de réessayer d'ouvrir Gparted.
Cette fois ci, au démarrage du logiciel, une nouvelle partition est détectée (/dev/sdb2) sans que j'ai touché à rien d'autre. Elle s'appelle apparement Setup Assistant et fait bizarrement 10Mo, comme la première partition...
Je comprends plus rien!

J'ai supprimé sdb2, et j'ai réessayé de créer une partition en fat32.

1) tu supprimes tout sur ce dd
tu valides et tu sorts de geparted

Tu relances Gparted par sudo

2) tu crées au moins 2 partitions primaires :
    une en fat32 100 go par exemple
    une en ext3  tout le reste.

Bon, j'ai créé une partition de 10Mo (la précédente, finalement, n'existe plus) en ext3 et le reste en fat32.
Ca semble marcher pas trop mal, mais la copie des fichiers est toujours impossible. Lorsque la fenêtre de "Progression de la copie de fichiers" s'ouvre, aucune progression, justement. Cela semble être définitivement "En attente"...

En fait tu ne veux peut être que du fat32 sur ce disque ??

Sinon il faut ensuite monter ta partition pour pouvoir copier des fichiers dessus.

Quelqu'un a dit ici qu'il s'agissait d'un executable les petits amis T.T !

Et en effet, sous windows, quand on lance cette executable ... on assiste au.... partitionage ! ^^

Cela dit... gros HIC ! Celui-ci offre soit 500 Giga windows, soit 32Go Linux & Windows + une seconde partition de 468Go non compatible linux .... T.T !

Donc, oui c'est un disque dur bien sympas pour ca taille vis à vis de son prix...


Personnellement je suis pas un fin connaisseur en matière de disque dur externe, mais j'aimerais quand même une plus grande partition lisible sur windows & linux à la fois !!!! Je ne vois pas comment on peut imaginer proposer aux utilisateurs de faire deux partitions comme celles ci... c'est carrément absurde comme compromis >.> ! (sauf en cas de reception d'un petit cheque de la part de microsoft pour rendre windows indispensable au quotidien, évidement T.T)


Donc, en gros, si on veut utiliser ce disque dur sous windows & Linux à la fois, je suppose qu'il doit falloir utiliser un programme linux pour le partitioner. Cela dit, le disque dur étant sous tension (alimentation exterieur), le formater sans l'executable constructeur ne ferait il pas sauter la garantie ainsi que le bon fonctionnement du disque -_-?!
Pour la garantie, à mon avis c'est clair et net. Dommage,  car il est garantie deux ans !:/

J'ai testé le formatage logiciel et finalement 436 Go sont accessibles sous windows et Linux (partition avec 99mo considérés comme utilisés). Cette première partition ne contient qu'un autorun.
Une partition exchange s'est crée, elle contient le guide d'utilisation (total des dossiers placés dessus atteint environ 100 mo) et un exécutable avec 29 Go libre et 148 Go considérés comme utilisés.

Voili, voilà.
