Nouvel écran 1680x1050, affichage réel = 1280x1024.
Bonjour,
J'ai un nouvel écran 1680x1050 et depuis que je l'ai installé, je reste bloqué à une résolution de 1280x1024 (mon ancienne configuration). Je peux changer cette résolution pour la nouvelle via l'application NVIDIA X Server Settings. Mais elle n'est pas sauvegardée (malgré que j'en demande la sauvegarde au fichier de configuration X).
Note, ceci n'arrive que pour mon utilisateur : tout nouvel utilisateur a une résolution correcte de 1680x1050, tout comme l'écran de connexion.
Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à avoir une configuration clean (si possible avec 70Hz, puisque c'est la meilleure fréquence pour l'écran) ?

Sélectionnez la résolution à l'aide de l'outil gnome: Système/Préférences/Affichage
s'il vous demande voulez-vous utiliser l'outil de votre fournisseur de pilote répondez non.
Alternativement, sous Jaunty, vous pouvez simplement effacer le fichier ~/.config/monitors.xml
Sur les versions précédentes, la clef à supprimer est quelque part dans le registre gconf2, accessible via gconf-editor, mais je ne me rappelle plus laquelle.

Ah ! Mille mercis, je n'ai pas supprimé le fichier monitors.xml, simplement édité et cela fonctionne à merveille.
