Bonsoir,

je ne m'y connais pas, et j'ai demandé à un ami qui s'y connaissait un peu mieux que moi, et il ma conseiller de poster ici.
En clair, de temps en temps (de plus en plus souvent) linux se met à ramer (30 sec voire une minute pour fermer une page et des fois obligation d'éteindre l'ordinateur). Sachant que l'on m'avait précisé que ubuntu ne plante pas et ne rame pas.
Et lorsque je dis "chez moi il rame" ma seule réponse est "ba chez moi il rame pas c'est qu'il est stable" (bizarre comme réponse égoïste non?)
Certes je suis en dual boot, mais je n'utilise presque plus windows.

Je ne sais pas quelle autres précisions donner, donc s'il vous manque quelque chose merci de me prévenir .

Um, il se peut que ça provienne d'un problème avec un driver quelconque.
Après un bug, peut tu poster le résultat de

dmesg

et

cat /var/log/messages

Quand il rame, c'est seulement en fermant une "page" (dans firefox ?), ou alors un peu partout ?

en faite, c'est vraiment sporadique, mais quand cela se produit c'est toutes les pages (un peu comme sous windows O_O)
quelqu'un m'a installé compiz ce ne serai pas à cause de ca qu'il peut ramer?

donc des que cela se reproduit je tape directement ca dans le terminal? (je suis vraiment débutant...

Oui quand ça se reproduit, il faut taper ça dans le terminal. Tu entend quoi exactement par "page" ?
Compiz peut parfois poser des petits soucis, mais globalement il est stable maintenant.

désolé je ne sais pas, car j'explique ma situation, un informaticien (ami de la famille donc pas pour l'argent) m'a fabriqué l'ordi pièce par pièce. L'ordi est conçut plutôt pour un usage de games .

Et je n'ai pas installé linux tout seul (enfin ubuntu)
donc je ne sais rien comment puis je savoir?

Il y a une carte nvidia avec le module qui va bien.
Je n'ai pas encore regardé en détail, mais à priori les logs du kernel semblent corrects.

Tu as bien raison d'être curieux de ce qu'on fait, c'est comme ça qu'on apprend.
La commande dmesg renvoie les messages d'erreurs du noyaux (kernel), c'est à dire de la partie la plus basse du système, gérant les interactions entre le système et le matériel (systèmes de fichiers, disques durs, processeur...). Les modules sont des fonctionnalités qu'on peux ajouter au kernel, sans qu'il en fasse pour autant réellement partie. Il ne sont pas intégré au code du noyau, mais il s'agit de morceaux de codes, chargé après le démarrage du noyau.

Mon dernier post voulait simplement dire, que au moins au niveau des drivers de ta carte graphique, ça semble bon. Maintenant, je n'ai toujours pas vu la source du problème.

Bon, vu que je ne vois rien d'anormal dans les logs, on va faire quelques tests...
Si tu as compiz (les effets 3D) d'activés, désactive les : Système->Préférences->Apparence->effet visuels->Aucun
Ensuite regarde si ça plante toujours.

Au fait, pendant que ça rame, tu peux peut-être essayer de voire pourquoi en faisant :

top

Ça te donnera la liste des processus, du plus actif au moins actif. Comme ça tu peux voire quel programme utilise le processeur et la mémoire vive.

La commande top sert à visualiser tous les processus lancés et à voir ceux qui consomment le plus de ressources en particulier.

P.S. tu devrais éditer au moins partiellement ton dernier message car il peut choquer plus d'une personne. Il s'agit d'un forum où les gens sont bénévoles, et même si dans certains cas il y a des trolls... Il y en a d'ailleurs un beau spécimen qui rôde sur le forum Ubuntu, mais s'il débarque sur ton topic tu le verras très vite.

Tu peux peut-être passer dans un terminal (les vrais), en faisant Ctrl-alt-F1
Le problème c'est que si c'est vraiment figé, ça ne fonctionnera pas.

Donc désactiver compiz ne change rien... Je sais pas trop ce qui peut causer le bug, surtout que je n'en ai jamais eu de ce type.
Tu as quelle version d'Ubuntu ? Si tu ne sais pas, fait

cat /etc/lsb-release

Oui, c'est une bonne position, mais c'est sur que généralement c'est plus simple quand on peut dire : fait ci, ça et ça et c'est réglé.
Je suis désolé, pour l'instant je ne vois aucune solution, vu que je n'ai rien me permettant de deviner le problème.
On peut continuer à faire des suppositions pendant un bon moment comme ça.
Juste peut-être un dernier test, essayer d'utiliser les drivers libres de ta carte graphique pour voire (j'ai peu d'espoir, mais qui sait):

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf ~/xorg.conf.back   # fait une sauvegarde, comme ça tu peux restorer si ça marche pas
gksu gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Ensuite tu cherche la ligne

 Driver  "nvidia"

Et tu la remplace par

 Driver  "nv"

Fait ensuite la combinaisons de touches Alt+Impr Ecran+K (ou redémarre).
