apt-get update ne fonctionne pas
Bonjour,
Depuis une semaine environ, je ne peux plus faire de apt-get update car une mauvaise coupure de l'url de la liste des packages se fait.
Par exemple, voici mon sources.list:

E: Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.
On voit bien sur ce listing que l'adresse http://ubuntu-archive.mirrors.proxad.net/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/main/binary-i386/Packages est fausse et pour cause il manque le suffixe de l'archive Packages.bz2 (ou gz).
Je précise:
que je suis bien sous Jaunty,
que j'ai réinitialisé mon sources.list avec http://sources-list.ubuntu-fr-secours.org
fait un dpkg-reconfigure apt-get
que le même problème se présente avec aptitude
et n'importe quel serveur (enfin pour ceux que j'ai essayé)
Est ce quelqu'un aurait la réponse à ce problème parce que je dois avouer que je sèche.
Les seules pistes que je vois sont les suivantes:
réinstaller apt-get
faire un dpkg-reconfigure sur le gestionnaire de téléchargement utilisé par apt-get (à condition que ce soit une commande externe)

je viens d'essayer http://sources-list.ubuntu-fr-secours.org et il m'a généré ça (le serveur n'est pas le même) :

Prends ce qui t'intéresse...
pour medibuntu, mieux vaut utiliser un fichier à part:
medibuntu.list
qu'il faut placer dans le répertoire
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/
, avec le contenu suivant:

C'est plus propre, surtout pour les MAJ des fichiers sources.list par exemple.
Imaginons que lors d'une nouvelle sortie de version d'Ubuntu, ton serveur soit surchargé, tu peux facilement changer de serveur, par exemple avec la fonction incluse dans synaptic qui se base sur le ping pour trouver le serveur qui réponds le mieux, et dans ce cas tes entrées medibuntu ne sont pas touchées, comme celles de wine ...

Avec vos deux sources.list, j'ai toujours la même erreur.
Je comprends pas pourquoi ça me coupe la fin de l'url du fichier à télécharger:
W: Impossible de récupérer http://ftp.free.org/mirrors/archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/universe/binary-i386/Packages 403 Forbidden
alors que ça devrait être:
W: Impossible de récupérer http://ftp.free.org/mirrors/archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/universe/binary-i386/Packages.gz 403 Forbidden
avec le .gz derrière Packages

Est ce que le problème se produit aussi avec le programme aptitude (au lieu de apt-get) ?
sudo aptitude update
Sinon il doit s'agir d'un problème de configuration de apt-get, ou encore un problème plus général sur ta distribution. Mais je ne vois pas ou, peut-être un problème de cache.
Il existe des commandes apt-get pour purger les caches...
Il faudrait faire un man de apt-get ou encore chercher avec un moteur de recherche ...
Pas le temps de creuser maintenant.
