Recherche fichier Xorg pour eeepc 901

Bonsoir à tous,

Suite à une installation récente mon affichage est faussé et reste trop petit sans possibilité de le modifier. Je cherche donc une personne qui disposerai d'un eee pc 901 et qu'il me fournisse son fichier xorg.conf

Sinon j'ai parcouru le tutoriel sur la configuration des résolutions mais je manque d'information comme le nom de ma carte graphique les résolutions supportée et tout le reste.

Merci pour la piste de recherche, j'ai enfin trouver une configuration qui fonctionne correctement et qui même améliore les paramètres (rotation écran par exemple). Ce bug m'a également permis d'apprendre que je peut utiliser des résolutions virtuelle, chose qui est disponible avec le windows installé par défaut sur la station.

Voici les lignes xorg.conf en question, d'après ce que j'ai compris ça permet de définir la sortie vga de la station et d'utilise l'ancienne accélération vidéo XAA à la place de EXA, le reste j'en sais pas grand chose.

Bonjour,
Je suis nouveau sur la planète Ubuntu, et je viens de changer de système d'exploitation sur un eeepc-901. J'ai installé via une clé usb la version Lubuntu 17.10 et ça c'est très bien passé jusqu'à la question redémarrer. Quand je suis sur ubuntu par défault ou sur le mode généric, j'ai un écran noir sur les 4/5. Quand je démarre en recovery mode, j'ai un mode dégradé (gros caractères et grosses icônes). J'ai vérifier avec le boot-repair 32 bits, apparemment pas de problèmes. J'ai généré un fichier booot-info mais je ne sais pas l'exploiter. Est ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'aider ?
J'ai lu beaucoup de choses sur le forum, mais je ne sais pas dans quelle direction aller.

Bonjour et bienvenu.


Il y a un point qui m'intrigue mais ce n'est pas la cause de ton problème : pourquoi à tu une partition boot-repair et un deuxième swap ? Si tu souhaite installer le système tout seul sur le eee-pc, tu peut opter à l'installer "installer sur TOUT le disque", il formate tout le disque et créé ses partitions automatique.

Je n'utilise plus le eee-pc mais voici quelques essais que tu peut faire :
- Faire un essai avec Ubuntu au lieu de Lubuntu ;
- Faire un essai avec Linux-Mint ;
- Modifier l'entrée du grub au démarrage en indiquant d'autre paramètre (nomodeset, vga) directement au boot sans modifier les fichiers. Cela permet de trouver les paramètres efficaces avant de modifier tes fichiers.

Si je me rappel bien, quand tu arrive sur le menu Grub, tu te déplace sur l'entrée souhaité, tu édite la ligne et ajoute le ou les paramètres souhaités. Si cela fonctionne inscrit dans les script grub tes paramètres, autrement au prochain redémarrage les paramètres grub sont remis à zéro. Je me rappel que le paramètre nomodeset ou autre truc approchant peut aider.

Salut,

J'ai bien fait une installation sur tout le disque et ensuite quand j'ai eu mon problème d'affichage, j'ai fait fonctionner boot-repair à partir d'une clé usb, au moment du redémarrage, j'ai fait un "F2" et j'ai rebooter sur la clé.

Ensuite concernant les autres versions, j'ai déjà essayé :
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS en 32 bits et j'ai eu le même problème.

Concernant l'entrée du grub au démarrage et le paramètre "nomodeset", il faut que j'aille grater parce que j'ai jamais fait.

Merci pour vos conseils,

J'ai ajouté le paramètre dans le grub, j'ai fait F10 et j'ai redémarré.
J'ai l'écran en entier en résolution 800x600.
Par contre, quand j'ai éteint mon pc et redémarré le lendemain, j'ai retrouvé le même problème.
J'ai regardé dans le grub et le paramètre que j'avais ajouté n'était pas sauvegardé.
Est ce que vous savez comment on sauvegarde une modif dans le grub et après qu'il redémarre en tenant compte

C'est normal. Ce que l'on t'a fait faire était un test pour voir si l'option nomodeset était bien celle qui convient.

Pour consolider l'option ajoutée afin qu'elle reste en permanence :

Editer  le fichier grub avec la commande :

gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub

A la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" , ajouter nomodeset entre quiet et splash. Laisse bien un espace avant et après nomodeset.

Refermer gedit en sauvegardant puis lancer la commande :

sudo update-grub

Refermer tout puis redémarrer le PC.

Voilà, ça doit te dépanner.

Ca fonctionne.

J'ai sauvegardé le grub avec la modification, j'ai relancé et c'est OK.
Sauf que pour éditer le grub, j'ai du utiliser la commande "sudo nano /etc/default/grub" parce que je suis sous Lubuntu 17.10, j'ai vu sur le forum que ça ne marche pas avec "gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub".

Par contre je ne sais pas si c'est normal, mais je n'ai pas la même résolution au niveau de l'écran avant de changer le grub.
Config écran avant modification du grub :

J'avais tapé "xrandr"

Screen 0 : minimum 8 x 8, current 1024 x 600, maximum 32767 x 32767
LVDS1 connected primary 1024x600+0+0 (normal left invertedrigth x axis y axis) 190mm x 110mm
1024x600	60.00*+
800x600	60.32	56.25
640x480	59.94
512x300	60.00
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted rigth x axis y axis)
VIRTUAL1 disconnected (normal left inverted rigth x axis y axis)

et maintenant avec le nouveau grub modifié, j'ai :

"xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 800 x 600, current 800 x 600, maximum 800 x 600
default connected 800x600+0+0 0mm x 0mm
800x600             75.00*

Est ce que c'est possible de récupérer résolution la résolution en 1024x 600.
